I dined on Saturday night on 21st Sept. This was my 2nd visit for buffet dinner in this restaurant. The experience for this time: the manpower was not enough. The restaurant was nearly full house. I was the one to get a baby high chair, clear the cutleries in front of my 2 yo boy. No staffs were free when the time i entered to the restaurant.The wooden chairs were old- fashioned. It seems very fragile and uncomfortable. Tables between tables were too close and no privacy at all. It was so noisy

The wooden chairs were old- fashioned. It seems very fragile and uncomfortable. Tables between tables were too close and no privacy at all. It was so noisy . It was difficult to chat with my family members.
No background music was being played for 2 hours. I heard that when it was 9pm.
The theme of the buffet was international seafood . Seafood choices were not much and 90% of them served in cold.
The choices of food were not too sufficient. Moreover, they were not too match with the theme.
The ventilation system for pasta, satay section was very bad. I was standing there to wait for the pasta, than my hair was full of odor.
Some of the waitress always long face when they came to collect your plates, even though you smiled and said thank you to them.
The char keoy teow and satay were nice. Ice kaciang was great. Sashimi was not shinny at all seems it was not fresh!
I suggest if u want to visit this restaurant ,better go there on weekdays. It was much more quiet. However, you can see the waitresses and waiters keep on chatting with each other. They only came to collect plate when you asked them to do so.
****Please do not expect the professionalism will reflect in an antique hotel .****
