We reached Penang in the evening and this was our first stop for tea. The place is packed so some patience is needed before getting a table. Service I would say is rather crappy due to perhaps the crowd. What draws people to this place must be the food which was awesome. We had mostly tea time stuff like pulut, vaade, currypuff, kesari and baaji. Judging from the quality and taste I can imagine the rest would be just as good. They also make good tea to wash down all the food.In terms of cleanlin
In terms of cleanliness I would rate this place similar like most indian restaurants around Penang. Not dirty but not clean as well. Do note it does get noisy due to being a closed restaurant however in my opinion that is half the charm. If you want a quiet fine dining place then obviously this isn't it but doubt you would get as good a selection of food and taste.
