Everytime I visit Penang, I would come to this shop to buy biscuits back home.Though there are other shops which seems to be more famous, but i love going to those non-mainstream place.And so, I found Ban Heang.I remembered when I first went to Ban Heang they have only small stores. but now they have started exporting biscuits. You can even find their biscuits at airports and even online store.How advanceI bought my favourite Tau Sa Peah, at only RM 2.20But as titled, i'm not just introducing biscuits but let me bring you deeper to something that you can only grab at the stores itself and not exported items which you could be found onlineAt first I didn't notice this Aiyu jelly at first till I saw my friend holding it. At the hot weather, having this aiyu jelly simply cheer up my heartIt taste abit sour, and inside the aiyu jelly, you can see the Lychee, Jelly, Lemon and Juice.For this price, I think it is pretty reasonable. And having it fresh from the refrigerator, what more can I sayI would say their cold/refrigerated sections are often the place I overlooked.Now reversing my steps back to that section, my eyes are sticked to the Gelato!I can't say no to gelato. Though I had two bowls of cendol earlier. That doesn't stop me from having more cold food!They sell natural fruit gelato, we tried the durian and mangoes flavor at only RM4 each.There are other flavors like red bean and so. But recently I been crazily craving for Durian, and the gelato taste so durian-ish and mango-ish. Fruit ft Ice cream livers. Yummy Siew PauAm not a really huge fan of ‘Siew Pau’, but after getting the taste of it from Ban Heang, it somehow changed my mind and I think they are pretty awesome! Hehe.The pau pastries is very fluffy and soft as it’s freshly baked from the oven daily. There is also a tinge of sesame fragrance on the tip of the pastry too. As for the meaty filling, they are equally fantastic for I would say the minced meat is very solid and very well-marinated.
