Aptly named PLOY which literally means "gem" in Thai, this gem of a restaurant located in Damansara Heights at the modern and sleek office building Clearwater. We kicked off the evening with some rather exotic tasting Truffled Hamachi. Sashimi doused in yuzu truffle sauce, this was indeed a fresh dish. The truffle brought out the unique taste while adding some sweetness to the fresh raw salmon. I tried one, and for someone who does not really fancy raw food, it was actually okay for my palette.
Fancy having some soup as appetizer before the main dishes? Then by all means do try out Ploy's Spicy Miso Soup. Served with fresh loster meat in Japanese Inaka Miso Soup with white radish, mirin and bonita flakes, that explained the price of this soupy delight. 張貼
