Subak's food is meant to be Indonesian-inspired, but there are also western and local dishes on offer. The discount voucher we bought entitled us to a "tantalising Seafood Platter of Fish Fillet, Black Mussels & White Prawns served with poached eggs, sweet mashed potatoes and garden vegetables with cream dill sauce"And we both hoped for Subak's sake it wasn't on the menu, because if we were made to pay anywhere close to RM85++ for what you see in the picture above, they would definitely have taken an arm and a leg!(In fact, we probably wouldn't even pay RM 45 for this small portion off a normal priced menu, which was how much the deal cost). To be fair, the scallops were fresh and the cream sauce was tasty. But to label this a deal meant for 2 to share was really ridiculous. It was not a good start to the night.
