LOKL cafe is a sanctuary or shall I say a hidden gem that requires effort to get to. There's this saying 'getting there is half the fun' and LOKL most certainly promises that because I have gone through the narrowest parking lots, lawless back alleys and a gallon of sweat upon arrival.
Take the door on the left and you'll finally find the heart of this maze. I was quickly shown a table where orders were made and brought coffee by an unhappy woman like a man. I nevertheless thanked her for her subhuman friendliness as LOKL serves pretty good coffee.
All in all, LOKL is great at creating awareness and just as good at keeping healthy public relations but that's pretty much where the good stops. Their coffee vending at 12 ringgit simply isn't worth the inconvenience involved getting to LOKL.
