The first time I tried the Korean Street Cafe is at their first outlet in the SS 15 Subang Jaya right opposite the Taylors college, and next to the Subway sandwich. They are one of the few restaurant or café which hangs around for a long time and is doing better than before. The Korean Street Cafe is one place that is perfect for non-halal Korean food lovers. The menu comprises of still some very authentic Korean dishes, but with a twist of the choice of ingredients. Instead of the usual pork there is kimchi stew with seafood in it. It was an interesting difference to what was normally served in the usual kimchi stew. Well a lot of the ingredients were replaced with local ingredient but it was nonetheless palatable. The ingredients are not so generous like before but were still tasty and good enough to satisfy the taste bud. It used to have big chunks of seafood and tuna which I can never forget but right now, it is served with fewer of those. The outlet in Sunway Pyramid is located at the asian avenue right next to the tako balls. The area is very secluded and can be quite a challenge to locate if unfamiliar with the layout in the mall and the avenue.
