Craving for some other cuisines besides Chinese meal as we were all pretty bored with it already during Chinese New Year. We were running out of ideas till we chanced upon this Japanese yakitori place.Not sure if it's new as I've never seen it before this. It is located right above Soleil at Section 17 Petaling Jaya. We actually ordered two chicken thighs, lady fingers and mushroom for yakitoris where as for main we had the salmon don and kakiage (fried chicken) with sashimi and rice. The bill came up to about RM 110 which we find pretty reasonable since the servings were pretty good, comparable to those like Kampachi. But an an affordable price.
The yakitori was tasty, with the right amount of salt and marinade while my salmon sashimi was awesomely fresh. Every bite feels like heaven and the serving was huge. The amount of salmon can serve up to two pax as one person finishing all the raw fish slices might be a bit too much for some. Kakiage was nice too, juicy despite deep fried.
The ambience of the restaurant is pretty nice too. With a classy interior, light brown woods with dark lightning. Perfect for family or dates!
