We have five of us for dinner at Bone and Pot and out of those 5, only 2 of us have not tried it before, that's my gf and I. They were all very happy with the food so I trusted their taste buds and went with it.We ordered the mixed broth, we had the signature pork bone broth and the Hong Kong styled tom yum broth. Both were very delicious in its own way! The tom yum is very spicy and that's how I like it! The pork bone broth is very flavourful as well! The food stuff didn't come all at the same time but it's ok. The fried calamari came first. It was crunchy and salty, plus the Thai sauce, it was a good starter. The pork slices were thin and they were cooked fast. Add a bit of chili sauce onto the meat, you get a super delicious and fresh meat melting in your mouth! Another highlight is the sotong tube which I think is a novelty item as they allow you to squeeze the amount that you wan into the pot, just like noodles. It also has fish eggs in the sotong paste combination. The eggs gave small pops in the mouth and the sotong paste was quite tangy. I tried some of the tom yum soup but it was too salty and spicy, tantalizing, but can't take much. The pork bone broth on the other hand was lush in taste as it already has all sort of ingredients in there already.
The bill totalled up to RM225 for 5 person which I find a bit expensive because at the end of the meal, I wasn't feeling so full. It was a tasty meal overall but for the price, I would think twice to visit here again.
