Fried Banana or goreng pisang is one of my favourite street snacks and in my opinion street food that is commercialized and served in restaurants are a bit too 'atas' for me and don't usually have the oomph from those you normally find selling by the road side. I was initially skeptical when my fried ordered the fried dessert here to share with me. The banana was coated in a light layer of batter and fried unlike some stalls which has thick coating. I was initially skeptical when my fried ordered the fried dessert here to share with me. The banana was coated in a light layer of batter and fried unlike some stalls which has thick coating. The unique combination of vanilla flavor ice-cream and syrup makes it a little too sweet for me. But I do like the combination as the piping hot bananas melt the ice-cream and gives it a gooey sensation.
