We are meeting our client here at the pressroom. So we decided to have a quick lunch meeting for the day. What good about this restaurant is that they have different lunch set everyday. So you will never get bored and it is suggested for those who wanted to have a quick lunch. I usually see corporate people over here. They will  offer you 3 different set lunch to choose from. During that time, they offered chicken, lamb and salmon. So i wanted to try their salmon since we were in a hurry. The portion is not that big for the grilled salmon that cost around RM32++. The set comes with 2 drinks, fruit juices and tea. You can choose any type of tea that you like (since i'm a big fan of tea) . For me, i choose cinnamon tea, as for the juice, i pick orange. The salmon is very fresh (i was lucky to get a fresh one ) depends on your luck as my colleague didn't get the fresh ones . They used olive oil and added some vegie with lemon, simple yet perfect. I like the tea tho. We were very rushing that day so we didn't try out some other dishes although their dessert looks good (looking at the next table ) . But its cool. We come here like almost all the time. Never get bored. Overall: corporate quick lunch, delicious with simple set lunch 繼續閱讀

The place serves French-European food in a upmarket shopping centre, but in a relaxed atmosphere. The modern looking restaurant is decorated in a greyish tone with mirrors covered the walls, which makes the restaurant looks bigger. There also is another sister outlet in Bangsar Shopping Centre. There is not much crowd during a weekday morning with the indoor dining area empty. Therefore we have the pick of our choice which is the sofa bench seat. The menu is quite limited with just a sheet. The staff serving us seems quite new as he is quite unsure which dishes are served during breakfast. Quite a bit of time is wasted when he goes to ask the kitchen.Under the Breakfast section of the menu, which is available from 9am to 6pm, we order"Big" Breakfast (RM25.00++)Two farm fresh eggs cooked to order, chicken sausages, beef bacon, grilled tomato, baked beans, sauteed mushrooms and a slice of toast. It is the breakfast with everything in it. I have selected scrambled egg for the dish. Huge serving and very filling. Mushroom is very tasty, as well as, the creamy scrambled egg. The tomato is quite nice and juicy with a touch of herbs on top.Eggs Cooked To Order (RM17.00++)served with sauteed mushrooms and grilled tomatoes with a choice of smoked salmon or turkey ham.I have selected poached egg and smoked salmon for this dish. Feel that the poached egg is a bit too firm. There is no egg lava flowing out when we cut the egg.Eggs Hemingway (RM19.00++)Poached eggs served with smoked salmon and Hollandaise sauce on an English muffin. The poached egg is too firm and the Hollandaise sauce is a bit too little. Serving is much smaller when compared to Eggs Cooked To Order.Omelette (RM7.00++)Three fresh eggs served with toast.Add additional fillings of Sauteed Onions (RM4.00++) and Sauteed Mushrooms (RM5.00++). The omelette tastes quite fluffly and soft.Croque Madame (RM25.00++)This Croque Monsieur ( classic turkey ham and cheese sandwich) topped with an egg, sunny-side up.This dish, from the Sandwich side of the menu, is served until 6pm in the menu. Looks quite but tastes not bad and quite filling too.Caffe Latte (RM13.00++)The coffee is made with Illy Coffee which is quite well known. Served with latte art on top.Hot Choc by Bellagio (RM17.00++)Served in a cute and expensive looking glass. Tastes quite thick and nice.Order Earl Grey Tea (RM13.00++) and Raspberry Royal Tea (RM13.00++) which are served in loose leaves by pots and refillable with hot water. The selections of tea is from Fine Tea by Ronnefeldt. I like the Raspberry Royal Tea better as it has a king of fruity taste.Overall the food is not bad. But the service has much to improve on. Food takes quite awhile to be served too. One has to be patient when dining in here, even when it is not crowded. 繼續閱讀

Due to health conscious, weekend's cocktail had turned into fruit juice..Concoction of water melon and berries, this blended very juicy, refreshing and hydrating, it's perfect to quench your thirst on a hot summer day.Not icy type of fruit juice, each sipping was so smooth into your mouth. Pretty love its layering decoration, simple yet delicate.Taste wise, this drink taste a tad artificially sweet, guess they added sugar syrup. 繼續閱讀

Melon Blizz Smoothie - RM 15 It a blend of watermelon and berries. The drink comes in a very nice red shade. It was really thirst quenching and refreshing.Beef patty from the Josper Oven - RM 29It served with sauce Porcini mushroom sauce and a side of The press room mash as the side dish. The dish look simple but the patty is juicy and taste absolutely good. The press room mash were delicious and a good match with the beef patty and the sauce together.Although quite petite in size, but it is enough to fill the tummy Impressed with the dinner experience. Will return to discover what they have on offer for breakfast and lunch for the next visit 繼續閱讀

Returning to The Press Room's latest Pavilion outpost, this time for brunch.Available 9am-5:30pm everyday: Eggs Hemingway, or call 'em Eggs Atlantic or Eggs Royale (RM20++). Poached pleasure with smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce on English muffin. The Pressroom's omelets come with smoked haddock (RM25++), but the restaurant ran out of the fish by early evening on a recent weekend. Substituted it with a chicken-and-egg conundrum that proved nice enough.Ending the eggs trilogy with a croque madame (RM25++) that meets expectations, more or less.Yolk-phobic customers can sample simple slices of The Pressroom's signature sourdough toast, partnered with Bonne Maman preserve and Lescure butter (RM18++).Can't call it a brilliant brunch without something strong to sip: Chartreuse liquor, with an alcohol content of up to 55 percent, made by French monks using 132 (!) herbal extracts.Grey Goose Dirty Martini and Tanqueray 10 Dry Martini. 繼續閱讀
