The chicken rice shop sells chicken rice and few other items with chicken as main ingredient in it. Things like noodles and porridge are also available. It is fantastic that they are working towards bringing more variety for dinners so the choices becomes more diverse when customers choice to dine in any chicken rice shop outlet. In trying to achieve that, they apparently came up with desserts as well. When I tried their dessert, I was unsure if they are doing puding or agar agar. The texture was somewhere in between but it was nothing pleasant to the palate. Nothing to shout about and nothing memorable about it.

OK, this one I like.. although I have to say that at RM7.50 for a regular plate, it's super expensive compared to what I can get at stalls and hawker centers. Mostly what maketh a good Rojak dish is it's Rojak paste. In this respect, Chicken Rice Shop certainly doesn't disappoint. The paste is rich enough with hae ko shrimps, tamarind and black bean extract.. and almost every other ingredient that makes a good paste. Super yummy Totally love the freshness of the fruits and the cucumber shreds too . Nice

Whenever I have the chance to patron a specialized chicken rice restaurant, I would not miss a chance to order the Ipoh beansprouts as I love the texture. The Chicken Rice Shop beansprouts were topped with some spring onions. The beansprouts were long and fat, thus the crunchy and juicy texture. Together with the salty soy sauce, I enjoyed this dish very much.
