I am always fascinated by anything weird and unique. I came across this place when I came here to watch Mr Holmes movie. My friend told me that in Japan, people would queue up to eat here but over here, the salesgirls had to keep promoting this. I ordered the Tanoshii with matcha filling, creamy mango ice-cream, a chocolate stick and also a strawberry. The tanoshii has crispy sides too. The ice-cream and filling are thankfully, not overly sweet. We have to wait quite a while for them to make this when we order. I may come back to try the matcha/black sesame/coffee ice-cream.

A newly open dessert store that came from Japan in Tropicana City Mall. Tanoshii sell Japanese dessert, Taiyaki. It is basically a Japanese fish- shaped cake with filling. What special about Tanoshii is they cooperate with modern twist in Taiyaki.Tanoshii is located at Lower Ground floor of Tropicana City Mall. They have 4 different filling such as Red Bean, Matcha, Chocolate and Cream. Furthermore, it is topped with different types of ice creams and fruits. All the ice cream are important from Hoikaido, Japan.Tanoshii menus is easy and simple. Customer can mix and match the flavours of your fillings and ice creams. It was fun~ you can play aroung the flavour and your palates! Taiyaki takes around 5 to 8 min to done. Thus, be patient! ^^Taiyaki with Chocolate filling topped with Chocolate Ice Cream and Kiwi. The Taiyaki is soft and chewy. And they give very humble fillings. Besides the ice cream is so smooth and rich in chocolate flavour. Yummy! Yummy!If you have Chocolate filling, here is my advice for you:1)Make sure you have tissues on your hand cause the chocolate may/will flood out from the Taiyaki!2)Beware it is still hot^^Taiyaki with Azuki/ Red Bean paste topped with Chocolate Ice Cream and Kiwi. Actually I want to have Sesame Ice Cream but it is sold out><Taiyaki with Matcha filling topped with Matcha Ice Cream and Peach. Very rich in Matcha flavour.Taiyaki with Chocolate filling topped with Vanilla Ice Cream and Peach.Overall, I definitely will have Taiyaki again because you can’t find any delicious Taiyaki in Klang Valley. Their Ice Cream is absolutely great! Moreover, it can make you feel full even you have one of these. The price is a bit pricey.Ambiance: 5.5/10Price: 6/10Food: 7/10Verdict: Best Taiyaki ever!
