Being a traditional Malaysian snacks, I was impressed when friends told me this particular SS2 banana fritters stall actually had a shop in this shopping mall which even comes with their own website.
For your information, just head straight up to the highest floor where all the street food and restaurant is located, this shop is situated right in front of the escalator. It is extremely easy to find.
So we made our way there during one of our lunch breaks. Since we were pretty full from lunch, I only bought the prawn crackers and something new to us, fried tapioca kuih.
The prawn crackers was average, it was crunchy and crispy paired with the regular chilli sauce nothing much to talk about. But we were blown away by the fried tapioca kuih. Usually it's made and served as steamed with kaya jam or sometimes salt depending on your personal taste. So when we came across the deep fried version we were eager to try.
It was crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. It wouldn't be too dry either, just nice and it smells good too. This is definitely worth another try again in future!
