Soul'ed Out has been a favourite of my family for a long while. We have dined there since we first discovered about the restaurant way back when they only had one branch in Hartamas. Now that they have opened another in Ampang which is significantly nearer to my parents' home, it was easier to bring them there for dinner without worrying about traffic. Although there have been some mixed reviews regarding this branch, we still went there to try as mom was in the mood for their food.As a treat for mom, I decided to order two of her favourite things to share. The first being Soul'ed Out's Grilled Sirloin Steak cooked to medium rare doneness because that is what we prefer. The temperature was more towards medium so I wasn't too pleased about that, though thankfully the meat was still tender and juicy. For the price of Rm48, I guess it was alright. But the black pepper sauce was quite bland and watery plus the sides of wedges and steamed vegetables was nothing to shout about. As much as I enjoy dining at this restaurant, I'd suggest that you forego their steak and try other things from their menu which I believe to be more promising. We also ordered their Char-Grilled Chicken Leg. This is another favourite of my mom because I sometimes make it for her at home, but since we're out she wanted to order it too. Honestly I was expecting it to be really good going off of the description that was on the menu.But I was disappointed in the taste because the entire thing was bland. Although the chicken skin was nicely crisp from roasting, I couldn't get over the fact that I was reaching for the salt almost the entire dining time. Even the black pepper sauce that came with could not save it since it's the same one provided with the steak.All in all, I still like dining at Soul'ed out, just not going to order these dishes from the menu again. That is for sure.

SOULed OUT began in 1996 and here is very nice place to hang out and actually souled out begin as a small neighbourhood cafe in Mont Kiara. With a modest menu featuring a mix of familiar favourites and an astute beverage list, it won many hearts with its easy and familiar ambiance,. the drinks especially the beer is a must here when come here and cooling and refreshing chilling out here

souled out have another outlet at ampang and mont kiara here another famous drinks is Dragonfly is SOULed OUT’s signature drink made from red dragon fruit, watermelon, strawberry puree, Monin lychee syrup and fresh lemon juicei try the mojito drinks which have the aroma of the mint . tasty and refreshing. environment is good to chill out here with friends here

这个 Sizzling Lamb Cutlet香料的味道非常香浓是实在。肉质也能保持着鲜嫩的滋味里面还有丰富的油脂。由于味道非常浓郁，所以更附上了煎饼，脆片，还有米饭供选择搭配来吃。个人还是喜欢配饭。

Souled Out has opened its second outpost, storming into Ampang with the kind of food, cocktails & vibe for which its long-entrenched Hartamas trailblazer is renowned. A familiar fusion favorite: the Sake San wood-fired pizza, abundantly topped with salmon sashimi, cherry tomatoes, lolorosso, mayo & a touch of wasabi. This seemed more impressive when we first tried it several years ago in Hartamas, but it still nicely encapsulates Souled Out's doctrine of dishing out comfort food filled with fresh ingredients. Sunset Beach (vodka, melon liquor, amaretto, cranberry juice) & Strawberry Dreams (vodka, bailey's, strawberry ice cream, strawberry puree, strawberries). Cosmopolitan Long Island & Watermelon Mojito. Souled Out's cocktails are potent enough to please, though the current selection at Ampang is not as wide as Hartamas'.
