Last Friday night, I visited the Second Sunday Café at Damansara Jaya. The café itself is not standing out, quite easily to miss it. Just some heads up its just located at the same row as Jing Xuan Dim Sum. The new Atria mall is just behind the row. I will say that it’s a good choice to choose to brew in Damansara Jaya, the neighbourhood is less competition compared to the areas like SS15 ,Damansara Uptown, Kota Damansara.By the time I reached the café its already 10pm, the kitchen was closed by that time. My only choices was cakes and cakes only. So I had no choice but to go for the Salted Caramel Cake. Nothing much to shout about, I am not really a cake lover after all.Their coffee was surprisingly good. For me, a good cup of coffee should be just right for my sweetness and good art.

After turning around the whole PJ for an hour, because of my distraction towards my cousin, we finally made it here! After hearing that they are famous for their local Penkek, I just told my cousin and he actually ordered it. We had too much to eat in the end. But the food was great! They were really big in portion and the taste, although a lot of seasoning, and feel really thirsty after eating it, but it's really good. I really wouldn't mind it. Insta worthy restauramt that comes with the name Second Sunday. Overall the decoration and design of the place is OK, however, the echo in the shop can be a tad too loud. Had to practically raise my voice to make sure that my partner could hear me speak! Just had 1 Pancake, don't really remember the name, but it has beef bacon with strawberries. The sweet savoury combination was excellent and the slightly salted beef bacons made the pancakes not too sweet. Nevertheless I have to say the price is a bit pricy for just a couple of pieces of pancakes... but what the hell, they do taste pretty good...

"where do you wanna eat?""second sunday""I'm asking you where, not when!""second sunday la!"So we decided to try out this new place nearby our place, & yes it's called second sunday! Pretty cute name I must say, with so many cafes popping up, choosing your cafe's name must definitely catch cafe hopper's attention! So there's 4 of us, we ordered french toast, number 5 and number 6. We were quite taken aback when the food was served to us because.... the portion was really small for the price we paid!!!! For example, the fritata, we had 2 miserable pieces for RM15+? Yea and the taste was just.. ... .......... well let's just say it didn't quite hit the spot. The only one we felt worth it was the french toast, the portion was big but well taste wise? I wouldn't say so. The chicken tortilla (number 5/6 I don't remember) was the nicest out of those 3, but then again, the portion was reaaallly small and it wasn't filling at all! In conclusion, we left the places feeling unsatisfied and not full! Wanted to head over to inside scoop to distract us from the meal we had but it wasn't open yet so yeah, we left home feeling ughhh Oh yeah, another thing that annoyed us was that there were flies in the cafe!!! not just one but a few! I guess the reason is that there was this huge rubbish bin right outside their shop and I guess that's where the flies came from, the more you think about it the more disgusting it gets
