They used to be my favourite chain Japanese-restaurant few years ago, but i had switch to others like S.king, S.tei, Icban, because of their sushi quality, if to eat affordable sushi, i more prefer s.king as they can provide me more quality sushi.Their ebikko and other sushi i ate that day, all not fresh Really disappointed on it, don't feel like money is worth to spend on their restaurant. But i would recommend if you really had no choices and must dine in, then you can choose tempura ramen, the minimum i can accept it, but their ramen is taste something like 'wan tan mee' lol

Whenever talk or think about it, it does makes me happy.. =)I've been to different shop of sushi restaurants around Kuala Lumpur such as Sushi Tei (my all time favourite!!), Zanmai Sushi and Sushi King.. So far, I often visit Sakae Sushi at Festival City with classmates since we're sushi lovers.. and the price at there is reasonable..I heard that they launched a new menu, without hesitation, I've been to there, again!! >_<My all time favourite, SALMON!! Even though it is not as fresh as the one that I had in Sushi Tei, but it is still acceptable.. *thumbs up!*The salmon are sliced into thin layer and served with rice.. It is best when dip it with soy sauce or sweet sauce and wasabi.. *yummy!* Definitely worth it!! I personally love this dish! >_< It is served with chinmi (my favourite) and ebikko on top of it.. The chinmi taste is marvelous!! *thumbs up!*It is quite unique as they served kimchi in Japanese cuisine.. The kimchi was slightly spicy while the mango was just nice.. But, I don't really like mango served with rice.. >< Definitely a must try for Kimchi lovers! This is definitely a must whenever I dine-in to here! >_<

If I did not guess wrong "Tori" means Chicken and "Karaage" means deep fried; so this dish is essentially deep fried chicken Japanese style. Being a bento of course it also comes with soup, egg chawanmushi, steamed rice and slices of fruits (mainly watermelon). Deep fried chicken Japanese style is actually pretty OK.. not as fragrant and intense as say.. KFC of course.. but it's definitely much healthier as it's not too oily. Not bad.

Sakae sushi in festival city always packed with people and if you are there for lunch or dinner, there is a long waiting queue, so be there early. The sushi on the belt is served fresh, and immediately by the chef, and the fish roe sushi is my favourite. The seaweed and fish roe is fresh and nice. Salmon roll is also up to expectation and its tender. Overall, the environment is cooling and the food is clean and nice.
