I made the mistake of trusting this coffee place to serve breakfast as soon as they open. I went as early as they opened because I wanted to have their lovely breakfast items for breakfast. Turns out, they don't prepare food so early. Quite pointless to have breakfast items that you don't serve immediately during breakfast hours!So, I had the cakes. They were rich, dense, and creamy. You could taste the fat, and it was good. However, I'm still upset that I didn't get to have a proper breakfast,

One of the things that make me come back to this café again and again is the nutella toast with banana slices. It is quite a unique combination as the nutella slowly melts on the toast and is in a gooey state. The rich and melty nutella blends well with ripe bananas which has a firm texture. The nutella toast goes well with a cup of hot latte as the richness of the chocolate complements the smoothness of the coffee.

Apart from the great coffee, this café also serves great lunch or some say breakfast, though I haven’t got the chance to come here for breakfast yet. One of my favourite items for lunch is their mushroom soup. The mushroom soup served here is quite chunky with bits of chopped mushroom in it. It goes well with toast which soaks up the rich and buttery soup. Price is also quite affordable for lunch too.

RAW Café stands for real and wholesome café which is quite a unique name. The place is not hard to find as it is located at the lobby of Wisma Equity and when you step in you can smell the aroma of freshly roasted coffee and be greeted by friendly baristas. The latte here cost around RM10 and it is a lot better than what you get from Starbucks as the foam is much more smooth and dense. The coffee is not harsh on the palate.

这次来到这家叫做RAW的咖啡馆，又很自然的点了latte cafe，发现自己真的是latte迷，不管到哪里的咖啡馆，都会点这个。也没让我失望，他们的咖啡又香又浓。当然他们也有卖其他的，他们的自制三文治也相当好吃的。而且这地方也很适合三五好友聊聊天。

Came here with my brother for lunch as he claims that this is one of the better alternatives from commercialized coffee such as Starbucks. I was told that the pancakes were a new addition to the menu and decided to try it. The sauteed mushrooms were juicy and has a nice chewy texture. The pancakes were rather stiff in a sense that I had difficulties in trying to cut it.

Been here several times and I do enjoy the environment here as it is a quiet and bright cafe which is suitable to catch up on reading or studies. During one of my visits, I got the strawberry muffin to go with my cup of latte. The muffin was warmed up and it gave off a sweet aroma of the strawberry essence when served. The muffin was quite sweet and there were caramelized syrup on the crust of the muffin. The dried strawberries has a sourish tinge which offsets the sweetness.

This time I had the broccoli soup with bread for lunch at RAW cafe. The soup had a greenish tinge to it and was rather thick when I spoon it. The soup had a rough texture much like broccoli blended in a blender and then cooked into a soupy stew. The soup made my throat very dry and parch and leaves a distinctive broccoli taste. As usual the bread was free flow and I will usually ask for extras.

Nutella has always been my favourite chocolate spread for my bread and when I found out that RAW café serves nutella with banana’s and toast I had to give it a try. The bread was lightly toasted wholemeal bread which was still warm and had flaky edges. The banana mixed well with the nutella and both tastes complements each other though I wish the staff had spread the nutella evenly across the toast.

Been here a few times for breakfast and lunch and I do enjoy the ambience and food served here though the place can a bit stuffy and warm at certain times. The mushroom soup is one of my favourite soups here. As always the bread is bottomless and fresh though you would have to request for it. The mushroom soup is creamy and you can really taste the mushroom bits in it unlike those you get from canned soups.

I have never been a fan of coffee as it always messes up my alertness. When my partner told me about this café serving really good coffee, I was quite skeptical and did not look forward to it. I was told that this café is one of the most eco friendly café in town as the owner is a big supporter of green technology and recycling. The picture above is the mushroom & pesto with panini bread. The bread is toasted on the both sides to give it a crunchy bite to it. The mushrooms were fresh but a little too cold for me. The salad is nice with lots of dressings and seeds in it and you can taste the freshness of the vegetables. When you order the sandwich here, you get the choice of choosing your own bread or letting the staff go creative on it.

I have been to this café a few times upon the recommendation of my partner, this time I ordered the hot mocha. They do serve ice mocha but not the ice blended version or any ice blended drink at all but the mocha here is one of the best I ever had. The chocolate is thick and has a very heavy bittersweet taste to it. The chocolate mixes well with the espresso shots and creamy milk.
