This is my first time to KLIA2 and I totally love the airport. The airport is so huge and spacious and the number of eateries around is mind-boggling and it looks more like a mall than an airport. I wonder why there were many complaints about this place. The moment I arrived here before going for my vacation, I was vowed by the creativity of the eateries' design and varieties. In fact, there were so many eateries that one is clueless on where to eat. I finally decided to eat at Nanny's Pavilion as I was attracted by the name of the place when I first saw it from the floor below it. When I arrived there, the interior design and concept of the restaurant being turned into a train-like environment with luggages on the top and also cage-liked surroundings is very cool and creative. In fact, the seats are in the shape of luggage bags that could even be opened! Some of the seats were made of a roller-type of bed which I guess imitates the sleeping cabins in the train. There are also maps and coats and jackets hanging on the cage.The waiters wear artist cap and also the clothes of the porter. Aside from the extraordinary concept, the food is just normal. I find the Salmon with herb rice (RM 18) a slight disappointment. The dish took such a long time to arrive, almost 20-25 minutes. The salmon is too overcooked and not juicy enough. The rice is too plain and just simply sprinkled with some garden parsley and there is no other vegetables or ingredients cooked together besides bits of capsicum. I felt that they should have served at least a garden salad and some salsa sauce together to add more flavour to the dry rice. I rarely order rice dishes as I am afraid of getting fat and this order made me regret. The Blueberry Lemonade (RM 10) was surprisingly worth the price as the blueberries were real instead of the syrup version. They really put in so many blueberries making me feel that the price was worth it. The drink also tasted of blueberry and not of blueberry powder.
