My first time having my lunch with +kakalina wak at Morganfield's. Morganfield's offer a fresh approach to the old American diner concept and it serves a wide array of American style fare . The decoration is so impressive and I spot Dr. Nicol David picture on the wall.Look what we have for our lunch. My eyes nearly drop when the food been served in front of us. We are speechless as the portion is not big but is gigantic. We are wondering how to finish the food. Don't care lah, just eat whatever we can and the rest we just take away.1) Hickory BBQ Spare RibsThis is the best spare ribs I had so far and the portion is super big as you can see in the picture on the left side. The ribs were cooked to perfection and were tender and juicy. This is like a heaven especially for meat lover like me. I know...I know... I need to cut down eating too much meat but my evil side of me keep influence me. oppsss...Blame the evil side off me. 2) Jim Beam Iberico Baby BackWhile Jim Beam Iberico baby rack pork was so delicious and the price was so affordable. It show at the right side of the picture. Alright before start my lunch, let grab a glass of ice lemon tea to soothe my throat. I had heard a lots of good comments from friends. So I decided to try it with my family. Morganfield’s served American Midwest cuisine. It is also known as good ol’ fashioned barbecued pork ribs mix with Southern cuisine.The interior is nice and spacious. It is very suitable for gatherings and parties. But their service is poor, maybe they lack of staffs. Furthermore, you can choose to whether dine inside (air-conditioner) and outside.We ordered their sharing platter, Carnivore Platter. Which consist of Full slab Hickory BBQ Spare Ribs, 1/2 Herb Roasted Chicken, Grilled Spicy Devil Sausage, Grilled Herby Hog Sausage, Garden Salad, Grilled Corn, Corn Bread and French Fries.Their meats are well-seasoned, tender and juicy as well. The meat was so tender until you can tear the meat from the bone.The sauce is tasty and it really compliments with the meats. Their sausage is a bit like German sausage. Full of flavour and spicy~ Their fries was nice and crispy too. Unfortunately, they forgot to put sauce on our salad>< I don’t like their Corn Bread, is moist but I don’t like their flavour.For drinks, they offered refillable drinks- SodasBesides, they also have different variety of beverage such as cocktails, juices and etcChocolate Chip Milkshake. So so only~Chocolate Milkshake. Not bad^^Overall, I will definitely visit them again, though the price is a bit on the high side which is reasonable. Good foods, environment!Ambiance: 7/10Price: 6.5/10Food: 7.5/10Verdict: Flavourful and tender meats that come off from the bone easily.
