Ever miss home cook boiled soup in a city?I am glad that the stall in Citibank food court is selling good soup to kill my soup craving.For your information, boiled soup stall here has different type of soups each day and that one pot is only RM5. They do serve white rice and one type of stir-fried cabbage and salted egg each day. Ordered this old timun chicken soup. Surprised to get a big piece of chicken, old timun and red 'gou qi' inside. About three to four pieces of timun come with the soup,

Yong Tau Fu in brown sauce. After choosing the various yong tau fu from the counter, the staff will boil the yong tau fu and it is self-service to pour the brown sauce. The brown sauce was kept warm in a pot. This brown sauce was slightly watery, not the thick version. It gave the yong tau fu some sweetness to it. I also added some sambal to add some spiciness to the yong tau fu.

It was well cooked with tofu, tomatoes, a big piece of chicken meat and of course, salted vege. Not too salty and yet sweetness from the tomatoes, it was nice!

Ever crave for mixed rice? I will not call it as economy rice because in Kuala Lumpur, it can never be any economic as it sounds. So there was a day I was craving for chinese mixed rice, I went to the Citibank for this.Took oyster mushrooms cooked with brocolli and carrots, fried brinjal and a big piece of steamed fish. Stir-fried mushrooms was normal to me, same goes to brinjal but that brinjal is slightly oily. Talking about steamed fish, it is fresh and nice but it was left cold. It would be

AWESOME grilled chicken chop. There was a day I was craving for chicken chop, then I went to the stall in citibank food court. I was alone just to eat this. As usual the queue was long, I waited about 15 minutes to get this. It is served with coeslaw, fries or you can changed it to mashed potatoes and chicken chop with mushroom sauce. It was slightly salty but I like it! The chicken was so tender and every single bite gave you satisfaction.

Sweet and sour chicken, fried egg, broccoli. The sweet and sour chicken was stir fried with onions and carrot slices. It was slightly sweet while the chicken meat was slightly dry and not too soft; The fried egg was just a simple one, nothing to shout about; The broccoli was cooked with carrots, both the vegetables were boiled to softness. The food offered here are not bad.

mushrooms, anchovies, vegetables. The anchovies are only available on Thursday. This stall's anchovies is worth a try as they were really crispy and slightly salty. They have some chili spicy within them; The Chinese black mushrooms were moist and juicy. It was soft to chew and not too salty; Well, the vegetables were the normal boiled version which I took to balance up the meal.

Roast chicken rice. The chicken rice came with a complimentary soup, which we have to scoop ourselves and apply spring onions on it. I also poured some thick black soy sauce on the side for my chicken rice. The roast chicken was not big piece, but it has the right amount of meat. It was not tough, slightly salty. The rice was quite fragrant. The soup was quite oily though.

Glutinous rice ball with lotus. Since I was not up to sweet chocolate rice ball that day, I took the alternative lotus version. The glutinous rice ball was simmered in the soya broth. The soya was not too sweet even though I added brown sugar in it. The glutinous rice ball was soft and chewy, but the lotus fillings were a bit too hard. The lotus fillings were not too sweet.

Grilled chicken chop with black pepper sauce. This western food stall in Citibank food court serves above average Western food. I ordered the grilled chicken chop and I changed the fries portion to coleslaw. The chicken chop was a big piece and it was grilled perfectly. I took out some of the skin parts for health purpose. The meat was tender while the black pepper sauce was spicy and thick.

Loh Yee Mee. Since that day the Q was not long, I placed an order for the loh yee mee. The yee mee was the thicker yee mee which I like, it was not too tough after being boiled in the loh mee soup. The loh mee soup was clear and mixed with egg batter. It was not salty, good for people who doesn't prefer salty broth. It has prawns and fish paste slices which are fresh and springy.

Braised Yee Mee ("Mun Yee mee"). The braised yee mee consisted chicken slices, fish paste slices and some vegetables. The ingredients were simple. The yee mee was soft but overall it was a bit too dry for me. I had to mix some sambal with the yee mee to make it more moisture. The yee mee has the right amount of saltiness. The vegetables were a tad too old though. The chicken slices were not too soft.

Thai Fried Rice. I was given a lime to squeeze some tanginess into the Thai fried rice. The fried rice has very simple ingredients such as chicken pieces fried cooked together with egg and rice. The fried rice has strong taste of tomyam paste, it was slightly sour and not too spicy. It was quite a big portion. Overall, it has enough "wok hei" and the rice was not too moist.

Whenever I feel like having vegetarian, I will go to this stall. This time, I took anchovies, sliced cabbages and vegetarian curry mutton. I simmered some curry on to my rice to give it some spiciness. For the anchovies, some were crispy, some were soggy, they were spicy and salty at the same time. The curry mutton was soft and not too spicy. The sliced cabbage was bland and simple.
