Here's our fearless forecast for February: Pavilion's hottest tables will soon be at Markethall, which opens next week after months of anticipatory frenzy. Freshness is the primary philosophy here: Markethall insists its supply of meat and veggies makes as few stops as possible while traveling from farms and plantations to the kitchen. The restaurant recently extended an open invitation to regular members of the public to head here for complimentary set meals during staff training sessions. Who says there's no such thing as a free lunch (or dinner)? Ruby Salad (beetroot with goat's cheese, honey-roasted walnuts & watercress). A generous portion of crisp leaves and earthy beets in a well-executed recipe that harmoniously blended soft, savory cheese with crunchy crushed nuts. Crespelles, stuffed with seafood, lime & coriander in bechamel sauce. Creamy and zesty, these baked crepes should be a real crowd-pleaser. White Pizza. No tomato sauce, no mozzarella cheese _ topped simply with smoked salmon, avocado, cream cheese, capers, dill & baby spinach. Warm and hearty, but it might have worked better with a thin crust instead of this doughy one. The creme catalena, smooth and supple, supplied the striking sensation of sweet success. Everything ran without a hitch: the food tasted terrific and the service team moved with perfect speed and plenty of smiles. Customers can order cocktails from Bedroom KL, the club-lounge beside Markethall, also opening soon. Booze never tasted as delicious as the Dream Cloud (absolut blue, lime juice, vanilla, half & half, strawberries, blueberries) & Vanilla Sky (absolut peach, midori, triple sec, vanilla, red chili, mango juice, vanilla bean). The publicity will persist; in the days and weeks ahead, many more people will be talking and blogging about both Markethall and Bedroom. Not everybody will be complimentary _ but nothing good ever escapes a backlash. 繼續閱讀

Located inside Pavillion looks cool with board as dish, the Smoked Salmon sandwich is irresistable, the salmon is smoked nicely and is chewy when eaten. The Sandwich's bread also very fragrant together with the sauce in it. The vegetables are very fresh, thumbs up for this dish =DThe french fries are just side dish, i may never care, but for french fries lover, it is good =) 繼續閱讀

Had a small gathering with friends at Market Hall yesterday. Din't notice this unique restaurant in Level 6, Pavilion until my friends brought me there. It is just located next to Ding Tai Feng Restaurant and opposite Wong Kok Char Chan Teng. The restaurant serves warm and hearty Italian food. The deco is so unique from the top ceiling to the ground tables and chairs. some tables and chairs are specially ''painted'' on ''ancient wood'' Quite unique.Bread Stick with Salsa Sauce (Complimentary Starter)Caesar Salad @ RM16.90I seldom fond on salad but i love this. The sauce and egg just perfectly match with the fresh greens.Salmon Pizza @ RM34.90This is quite special without the traditional tomato paste sauce on a pizza. Just plain pizza bread with smoked salmon and avocado on top. The pizza bread itself has the aroma which is tasty enough, tats why it still taste great without any sauce.Seafood Marinara Pasta @ RM35.90Friend say that its quite spicy, but curiously i din't find any spice on it... funny. The sauce is nice and the several mussels and squids are fresh and juicy !!Kaesler Rizza @ RM140.00Suitable for sweet ppl who love sweet wine !Rasberry Mousse @ RM12.50Macaroon @ RM3.50actually first time tasting macaroon hahaha... this is lemon & mango. i'm loving it.After dinner we shifted to next door, actually goes in from the restaurant too. -- Bedroom\\, where you can have a disco party !!Love the food here. Good place for a gathering with friends and family. Convenient for second round next door for some drink and dance perhaps. 繼續閱讀

The Market Hall located at Bukit Bintang has a very nice dish that I love to eat. This is my main course for today, the Lamb Balti Pie. This Lamb Balti Pie is a Moroccan dish of spiced lamb and baked in a puff pastry, served with a mixed salad. The lamb meat was very tender and aromatic. 繼續閱讀
