上次過來旅遊,意猶未盡,相隔一個半月,再來吉隆坡度春節假期,來Pavillion的Money Exchange兌換馬幣,順便食午餐,上次來吉隆坡,也有試這間,當時快關門,只得幾檯,也感到冷氣不足,以為是快關門,關了部份冷氣而已,沒太在意。今次下午過嚟,叫完嘢食,越坐越熱,食物上檯進食後,要標著汗來食。/今次叫了咖哩喇沙(一般而已),蝦麵(湯頭好濃,不錯的),炒粉(味濃,還可以的),另叫了串燒(一點熱都沒有,應是一早整好的,不好吃),不會再來食這間。 繼續閱讀

Madam Kwan’s既辣死你媽#nasilemak 出名到咁無理由唔食既👻 以椰漿加以燉煮既白飯,配埋咖哩雞、魚鬆、食落甜甜地既參巴辣椒魚乾,再搭埋全熟既蛋、清爽青瓜🥒好好食!!!·我上次黎大馬試過少少椰漿飯,果時唔覺特別好食⋯呢個真係推介啊,愈食愈辣😋最好味係參巴辣椒魚乾!!超好送飯!!😋😋 繼續閱讀

After an appointment, mom and I decided to drop by Pavilion for a little walk because it has been a while since we were there. Plus we were already out on the weekened so thought to use the time we have wisely.For lunch we decided to stop by Madam Kwan's and it has been years since I last ate there, but mom has been really liking it so that's where we dined in. As always we would order dishese to share since our appetite could only take so much plus I wasn't in the mood to be eating so much.Maybe it was because lunch hour was over, but there were only a handful of table that was occupied when usually it would be packed to the brim. Thankfully so too because a staff led us to the table and was all smiles. So I was pretty pleased with that because I have heard negative remarks regarding their wait-staff before and expected the worst.The first thing we ordered was the Nasi Bojari. This was highly recommended by my mom and I can honestly see why. The tri-coloured rice was incredibly fragrant and the sambals that was served with complemented the flavours nicely. And that fried chicken had the crispiest skin I have ever eaten and was not very oily which made me very happy. Plus the size of it is bigger than any I have ever received in other restaurants. As always we would always have a vegetable dish because its something I absolutely enjoy eating. Again this dish was recommended by mom so it was Kangkong fried with belacan and... Nothing too much to shout about, but I do like the nice flavour from the belacan. Though you can definitely get better elsewhere. Oddly enough I was in the mood for some dessert so we ordered the Cendol to share. I was surprised by how much red bean they gave and also the actual slippery green cendol. There was more of those toppings than the ice which was a good change because it's usually more of the latter.This was pretty good though the portion was a wee bit small for the price. Though I think for a non-dessert eater like myself, it's just good enough. 繼續閱讀

Stopping by again for another round of simple fete.As usual, crowds is always there to be seen, so do be patient while waiting for your order to be taken.Nasi Bojari is the signature dish over here, so we definitely won’t go without it. Chicken thigh is awesomely marinated and tenderly enjoyable.As for dessert, this time round, I decided to take a slight detour to the western style, where seeing me taking the Banana Split. Out of the 3 flavour scoops, I prefer the mango one the most. Fruity and easy on palate. But as a whole, it could be quite cloying. So do be moderate on the food   繼續閱讀

Madam Kwan actually offers a good range of local food and they are all quite delicious. This outlet is for people who shy away from street food, but of course the price range is higher as a result. I have tried their nasi lemak which was quite good with large portion size. Not long ago I brought some of my friends who were visiting from Melbourne to the Pavilion outlet. While they enjoy their assam laksa I ordered a Char Kuay Teow for myself.Very good looking plate of CKT I must say. With quite a few big prawns, good amount of other toppings as well. Only thing missing there is the blood cockles (and crispy pork lard since it's a pork free outlet). No matter, I still enjoyed it as the noodles were fried perfectly with plenty of wok breath. Yum! It does get quite busy during mealtimes but service is efficient enough. 繼續閱讀
