One of the famous nasi lemak places, though not something most Malaysians would consider to be everyday food. Once in a while, it's just pleasant to dine in a nicer environment, even if it means paying more.The nasi lemak here is fragrant, sambal is "kao" and spicy. Chicken is tender.

Another popular local dishes is the nasi lemak ayam rendang. The portion of the nasi lemak is quite big. I like the coconut rice which was fragrant and fluffy. The ayam rendang was not too bad but not impressive. I just have high expectations on certain popular outlets, when their food quality did not meet my expectations, i will be very upset. I find that the nasi lemak was too dry for me as the sambal was not enough for the nasi lemak.

Madam Kwan in One Utama shopping center is realtively new. It has nice interior design for the outlet, and yes, with that comes the price. The food here is not cheap, but quality wise, i think it is above average. Nothing fantastic or exciting either. The curry laksa was one of the local dishes from the menu. The curry laksa's soup was very rich and flavorful, lots of spices and coconut milk being used. The prawns were big, other ingredients include cockle, chicken, beansprouts, and tau fu pok.

New outlet open at One Utama.Nasi Bonjari the portion is huge! They have fried chicken, rendang beef (you can change to rendang chicken as well) and sambal prawn. The fried chicken is quite disappointing despite the portion but the taste is salty and although they have alot of flesh but that is not the taste I expected to be. The prawn are fresh and nice.
