Replacing The Pink Sage at Solaris Dutamas (farewell, fluffy pancakes!), Lavinier promises a staggering selection of intriguing Yugoslav recipes. But some pledges are not so easily fulfilled, since not everything on this outlet's multiple-page menu is always available. Burek _ a meaty Bosnian pie stuffed with minced lamb, onions & spices. Prices are low compared to KL's other Croatian eatery, the more elegant Dubrovnik nearby at Solaris Mont Kiara. This pie cost under RM10, but even Lavanier's most expensive items barely surpass RM30. Double lamb patties with feta cheese in Sarajevo flat bread. A nice change from regular burgers; the thin bread, softer & lighter than pita, is much tastier than buns. Served with ajvar _ a thick but delicately flavored sauce made of paprika, peppers & olive oil that's superior to ketchup. Dalmatina Pizza, topped with lamb bacon, smoked salmon, olives, fresh tomatoes & mozzarella. Lamb & salmon in one pizza? Sounds like something special, but the ingredients overwhelm each other with intense savoriness. A hearty pizza, nevertheless, for the hopelessly hungry. Margarita & Bailey's. Lavinier's cocktail list looks impressive, but barely 10 percent of the beverages seems to be actually available.

Lavinier is a food outlet tucked away from the busy shops in Publika, a shopping complex that houses restaurants, fashion stores and art galleries. It has a cozy ambiance; complete with colourful pillows and cushioned couches. Perfect place for any meal! The carrot cake was moist, rich and drizzled with chocolate and caramel! If carrot cake isn't your thing, they have other exotic cakes to choose from. If hungry, go for the pizzas, pastas and more!

went there last week because to redeem coupon from gooddeals2u..never heard about lavinier coffee and bistro, just know the place serve yugoslavian food..lavinier bistro is located at solaris dutamas, at goverment complex jalan duta..very easy to find..i love their environment, very cosy, clean..a very good place to chill and relax..cinnamon coffee..RM9..bitter but niceblueberry cake with ice cream..they used cheap ice cream but i do love their blueberry cake..it was a dry cake but very nice..maybe it is a Yugoslavian recipe..recommended..maybe i will come again to try other food..
