It was a week ago that me and my colleagues planned this Christmas dinner in our Whatsapp group. At last we finally had our dinner today at 7pm. There were only six of us because some of us declined last minute. Anyway, my colleague brought her own Yee Sang and we Lou Sang for our Christmas dinner! A bit weird but I guess we were too excited to celebrate CNY? Hahaha...After that, our first dish, the winner, though very simple was very satisfying. It was a special green vegetables stir fried with bean sprouts. I believe it was a great combination. Even the colours : white and light green mix was fantastic. The crunchiness was also to my liking. The second dish was the Sweet and Sour Pork. It was one of my first time in Malaysia that I actually think that pork was tasty! I usually do not like to eat pork but I definitely like this one! The cucumber and onion inside was also kept crunchy. The third dish was a humongous claypot fried Fish Head with Tofu Pok, Ladies Fingers and Brinjals inside. The portion was so big that we could not finish though I did try to finish some of it till we have only some flesh-less fish left. The other thumbs up ares the steamed Jumbo Prawns. At first serving, it was not cooked enough so we told the waiters to recook it. Then the second time it was cooked enough. The prawns were simply delicious! The whole meal of four dishes cost only RM 160, when split between us, each of us only pay RM 27 which was quite cheap for the entire meal.

When we arrived, it was getting quite late. Therefore, the restaurant actually sold out a lot of dishes. Since there were not many choices left, we just have to order what’s available only. This beancurd is homemade and it tasted mediocre to other dishes. It is the dry tau fu pok with minced pork and minced fish paste stuffed in the middle. This dish is more similar to a Yong Tau Fu dish. The sauce was a normal sauce which I think need more flavors. The stuffed paste tasted normal.
