First salted egg yolk croissants, then burger, then molten cake with ice cream. And now it’s salted egg yolk waffle with ice cream!?! The salted egg yolk craze will never end!!Adding salted egg yolk into our food is becoming a trend and everyone seems to love it a lot. I managed to try out all different kinds of innovative salted egg yolk food, and I succeeded in trying out salted egg yolk waffles with ice cream as well!Inside Scoop was jumping into the salted egg yolk bandwagon as well, never fail to keep up with our taste preferences. I got the opportunity to try out their salted egg yolk waffles with ice cream that day and I must say, I wasn’t impress much.The charcoal waffles were soft and fluffy but wasn’t as crispy as how I wanted my waffles to be. There were some salted egg yolk drizzle across the waffles and some of the salted egg yolk flavour was placed into a syringe. It was expected of you to inject out the salted egg yolk flavour around the waffles. The amount of salted egg yolk flavour was really minimal, it’s basically just like normal waffles with chocolate ice cream with an extra punch of salted egg yolk flavour. RM17 for that dish was quite pricey for just one scoop of ice cream and waffles with a little bit of salted egg yolk flavour. Thus, I wasn’t really satisfied with this salted egg yolk dish. 繼續閱讀
