Ichiban Boshi located at No. 14, Level 1. It is a unique design and ambiance dining environment. It is spacious and rotation sushi that go around your place. Ichiban Boshi served modern Japanese cuisine. They served high quality and fresh sashimi everyday. They also have different variety of set meals.I’m not a sushi fan so I always order hot stuffs such as this Kaisen Baked Grilled Rice. Generous cheese and seafood! Consist of small fish roe all over the rice, squids, prawn and cheese. The rice is so flavourful! Delicious~~~ I hope they can put a little bit more of salt because kinda lack of saltiness><My sister had a Soba Teri Giza set. We didn’t expect such a big portion with reasonable price. The set consist of Japanese Soba, Chicken Teriyaki Rice, Chawanmushi, Miso soup, Appetizer and Fruit. This is my first time try Japanese Soba and it was so nice~ How to eat? Pick up some soba and dip into the sauce awhile and *Slurp, Slurp*. The sauce is salty so don’t try to drink it ^^ Their Teriyaki Chicken was soft and flavourful. I like theirsauce that rub on the chicken. Chawanmushi was soft and smooth. One word, Yummy! We couldn’t finish it because we didn’t notice that the Chicken Teriyaki came with Rice>< (waste ady la)Overall, their foods is nice. And it is different from other Japanese restaurant. They also provide different variety of sushi. One more things is they make their rice using hand instead of machine. Where you can taste the original Japanese sushi. Besides, the price is reasonable and worth to try.Ambiance: 7/10Price: 7/10Food: 7.5/10Verdict: Unique menus that you hardly find anywhere else.

Highly recommend on the salmon, which is the most fresh and tender salmon i have eaten around the town. It just like melt in your mouth once it touches your tongue and also a perfect match with sweet soy sauce and wasabi. Miso soup is the combination of balance and healthy that it seasoned in a perfect ratio, not to mention the seaweed used in the soup, perfect.The rice were cooked in good condition where it will not too sticky when eating. The fruits and salad were so fresh as well as the tempura which coated in crispy batter and grilled mackerel that still retain its natural own colour and juiciness. Overall, the food there was AWESOME!

Eating Japanese has become the norm for me, every month there will be at least once or twice meal is settled in for Japanese restaurant. Ichiban Boshi not a all time favorite but it has never failed me in terms of its food quality. One of the dish that i kind of liked is the Salmon Yukke Roll, the Salmon is quite fresh and its texture is smooth till i can literally feel that the Salmon can just flow inside my mouth. While the setback is the spicy Japanese sauce, it kind of like kill off the original taste of the fresh Salmon, probably i just like to taste Salmon in its original form. In addition, i kind of the presentation of the dish, utilizing the transparent plate, it gives me the feel of modernize Japanese cuisine. Another dish i like to share is the , it is prepared with the BBQ eel with cheese on top of it and top it with teriyaki sauce. One notable thing with this restaurant is the ingredient is fresh, and in addition to that the food preparation method is very special and daring to try. Having Cheese with Eel does not taste great and i personally like to have teriyaki sauce in stronger flavor.

Ichiban Boshi offered All Salmon Set which include Salmon Sashimi,Salmon Sushi,Smoked Salmon Sushi,Half-Broiled Salmon with Cheese and Salmon Maki.All the salmon serve are fresh here.The rice softness is just nice and the vinegar taste not so strong.The price of this dish are reasonable and recommend for Salmon Sushi Lover.I like the service staff here are nice and friendly.

Enjoy this salt-grilled salmon belly - Shioyaki at the Ichiban Boshi, Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur.The salmon belly was salt-grilled perfectly and nicely cut into six small pieces equally. The salmon belly was very fresh, tasty and not too oily. The salmon skin layer was still crispy. Yummy!Definitely will return to try their sushi and sashimi at a reasonable price. Nice environment but a bit crowded and the chefs are very busy all the times.
