Celebrated my friend's 21st birthday here and the Hungry Bunch had a Birthday Treat for her! It was a Jumbo Barrel of Milk Tea. When the say Jumbo, they really do mean that its jumbo sized. All of us drank a few cups and yet, we couldn't finish it.I ordered Creamy Mushroom pasta RM 13. The spaghetti sauce was so thick, rich and creamy. They also gave a lot of Mushroom. In short, the overall portion of the pasta given was a lot. As a result, I did not manage to finish my pasta.I was very satisfied with my visit here and I would definitely come again in the near future  繼續閱讀

It was an ordinary day in university and as usual my friend and I didn’t know what to have to lunch. Since we have quite a long lunch break, we decided to go to Sunway Pyramid for lunch! We were in the mood for spaghetti and thus we all agreed to have lunch in Hungry Bunch. The ambience of the restaurant was really cozy and nice, the lights were dim there thus giving us this ‘romantic vibe’. We were starving and so we quickly ordered our food. I had the marinara seafood spaghetti while my friend had the creamy carbonara spaghetti. I’ve always been a fan of marinara spaghetti because I prefer tomato based pasta to cream based pasta. Our food arrived quickly and at the first sight of my food, the plating was really good and my mouth began to water. The portion was just right and there were a generous amount of seafood like mussels, shrimps and calamari on the plate. I simply love how chunky and flavorful the tomato puree was and I enjoyed every bit of my pasta. The creamy carbonara on the other hand was really filling. According to my friend, the cream sauce was thick and really rich thus it filled up her stomach very quickly. Despite the portion of the pasta which was just nice, she was unable to finish it due to the thick and creamy sauce. However, she did say that the flavour was on point. 繼續閱讀

it is not easy to find affordable yet reasonable quality western food around. Even the western food at a mamak outlet can cost up to 15. But fear not, as of last year, this place called hungry bunch opened up in Sunway pyramid. Yay!! Sunway to me is like a university town as there are many colleges and universities in the area. The place is always swarming with students and i feel hungry bunch did an amazing job opening up in Sunway pyramid. Their prices definitely cater to the students in the area. If I were a student in the Sunway area and was craving some western food but am on a budget. Hungry bunch would probably be my choice compared to Delicious. Walking into this restaurant, you'd definitely feel like you're in a hipster cafe. The decor here is simply interesting yet very sImple at the same time. It looks stunningly beautiful yet doesn't look like the person decorating needed to put much effort into decorating. Moving on to the food, the food here is definitely affordable for students, especially the set lunches that are on weekdays. Inclusive of tax, you'd pay let's say about 25 for a full meal that will come with your main meal, a drink, soup and a dessert. Amazing, right? My main meal I got was a fettuci carbonara (in the pictures attached), my drink was an iced lemon tea, my soup was mushroom soup and desserts were ice cream. This meal was simply filling for a person like who has a bi appetite. For an average girl, I'd suggest you share this set lunch with one of your girl friends. That way you'll satisfy your western food craving and save more money too, better yet you'll feel super full still. I'd say go for this place if you want to save money and still have reasonable quality western food. 繼續閱讀

I was drawn by the advertisement of pancake for only RM 3 and went in. It is typical customer's attitude, come on!Surprisingly, as a cafe in a shopping mall, the F&B here is quite cheap, which explains why the place is so full of people and it took so long for the food to arrive.Club Sandwich (RM 12)OK, my friend ordered this because I told him he needs to adopt a healthier eating diet to slim down. I mean, come on, why eat deep fried items all the time? The Club Sandwich is average. It came with 3 layers of creamy and mayonaise-ladden ham, salad lettuce, and cheese. The bread is a little soggy. This is the first time that I eat French Fries that are not only soggy but has a weird smell and are black. Of course there is no such thing as charcoal fries! I asked the waiter and they said it is like that originally.Mint Ade (RM 6) The Mint Ade is just average, something like fresh peppermint leaves and soda or sprite and some sugar syrup.Strawberry Pancake (RM 3) Seriously, the receipt proved this fact but I challenge you to order this and bite through the pancake. You would soon realize you are biting through cardboard pancake, which is so hard, compared to even the cheapest pancake mix you get from the supermarket. I am a person who hates wasting food but this time round, I am so sorry I had to do this. The only edible thing is the strawberry and the melted ice-cream. No offense on my comments above but then again perhaps the other food are ok as it was probably not my lucky day?Details:Address: Hungry Bunch, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre, F1.75, No. 3, Jalan PJS 11/15, Bandar Sunway 46150 PJ Selangor 繼續閱讀

Hungry Brunch is a new café located at the highest floor of blue atrium, Sunway Pyramid. This new entry café has the potential of being a surprising distinctive new café, aiming to be a should-visit for shoppers to fill their tummies.Interior is simple and cosy but you could easily spot the effort of owner on decorating the place. As you can see from the above menu, the price are quite affordable than most restaurant in Sunway Pyramid. The menu options cover from pasta, all-day breakfast, salads, burgers and desserts. Nothing much to dwell on the pasta, both aglio olio pasta and carbonara pasta were quite a disappointment to the buds. After all we didn’t get our hopes to high judging from the price as low as RM10.The chicken chop was being served with a generous amount of black pepper sauce. Nicely done with the sauce, but the meat could have done better. What makes the Hungry Brunch better? 30% discount on all drinks! Get your caffeine fix at a reasonable price! One thing for sure, do not expect much on the coffee. The cappuccino I ordered was decent enough but hopefully the coffee art could be better! I could barely see the art! Being as one of the cheapest promising cafe, it’s definitely worth the visit. So what are you waiting for? By just looking at the cafe name, it's already making me feel hungry! 繼續閱讀
