Taco is too spicy and over powering. The beef for the fijita is very tough. not an enjoyable dinner.

For a special dinner with my BFF, I searched for some ideas of recommended eateries around PJ. Read some reviews on Trip Advisor, and Frontera at Jaya One seems to have gotten many positive reviews. In fact, I have passed by Frontera countless times in the past, thus these reviews that I read online did help in getting additional businesses for some F&B outlets. Since dad felt like eating Mexican food today, naturally I would choose one of my favourite places and also where the price is ok and parking is not such a problem like in malls. I have been here long time ago for valentine's day and also dad's birthday previously. Luckily I came here today as I also discovered that Jaya Square is just opened. Not many shops inside but at least one discovery. The best part are the New York-like mobile food trucks at  The Square which I heard are opened every Sun

The mains were this great list of assorted Ingredients of a variety of poultries and seafood. Well I couldn’t possibly try all of it, although deep down, I really do wanna whack everything. LOL..So I tried the Maple Glazed Salmon. Salmon was moist and fresh. Chuparse los dedos!

I also tried the BBQ grilled pineapple chicken. The pineapple gave tangy sweet flavour while the BBQ sauce provides a speck of brine to this main course. Not to mention how the juicy pineapple compliments the meat so perfectly as if it was meant to be compatible with one another.

Fish Tacos are always great here. And love the generous amount of vegetables and juicy diced tomatoes with the stunning slice of fish fillet perfectly battered and fried to give the rich crispy texture on the outside while keeping the moist of the fish on the inside. When served warm, I can eat quite a few of it.

So, Chili's isn't the only joint in town to serve bottomly nachos. Frontera does it too, and I'm inclined to favour theirs over Chili's. Why? The salsa tastes fresher, and the chips are lighter and airier.I had planned to have a burger for dinner, but after a few drinks and PLENTY of nachos, I had to be "that guy" who just comes to finish off the bottomless nachos.

Frontera always holds special memories to me because our very first band gig happened here. Apart from that, they also serves pretty good Tex-Mex food and I usually will order their starters when I visit. Strangely enough I have yet to actually try their main dishes, but will do one day. A relaxing Friday though and we had our lunch this round at Jaya One which is the Mexican cuisine. Frontera Sol of Mexico is an authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. The restaurant do serves a variety of Mexican cuisine not to be missed.Next we had the Friday Promotion which is the Rosted Chipotle Chicken where the chicken is being oven rosted in the creamy chipotle sauce and served with the cilantro lime rice and a small saladTaste : 4/5Price: RM 13 ++

frontera is the great place to dine in with the mexican food and i try the good desserts served here called impossible chocolate flan. very nice serving and the taste not too sweet, the cake is soft and delicious. with reasonable price. service overall is nice for me, the drinks are variety here. overall the dining area is comfortable and service is good too. they have live band going on at 9pm.

Jaya One is probably no longer any news to many people. The place is filled with people almost every other night, not to mention weekends and public holidays being mostly packed with more people till late night. Famous with lots of German restaurants and pubs, some which I’ve already published some post earlier. di sini terdapat pelbagai jenis masakan dan juga hidangan..........semuanya dibuat mengikut ala-ala mexico......saya memang ternyata amat menggemarkannya sekali........masakan di sini cukup lazat,enak dan serba-serbi sempurna......apatah lagi,...ia hadir dengan hidangan yang cukup segar sekali...............harganya juga boleh dikatakan mahal tapi berbaloi..

Fajitas Mesquite-Grill Beef. One of the guy ordered something different from us, not Enchiladas nor Burritos. He ordered the Beef Fajitas. It came in a sizzling hot plate, three different type of sauce and three pita bread if I am not mistaken. The beef smelled nice and tasted delicious too together with the onions, red and green bell peppers. This dish was not too salty.

Sonoran Style Beef Burritos. It came with exactly the same side dishes (I guess all mexican dish are like that!), everything was nicely arranged. Although the shape does look like Enchiladas, but it was not. The inner filling of burritos was very delicious and packed with ingredients. The beef tasted excellent. I guess Mexican is still famous with their beef dishes.

North of the Border Enchiladas. This is another version of Enchiladas which is known as North of the Border (wow, is a mouthfull wasnt it?). Again, the ingredients of this dish was being arranged neatly. This Enchiladas was slightly burnt as compared to the previous Enchiladas Suizas. Nevertheless, I like the marination and the burnt taste of this tortilla wrap.
