Couple of Mondays ago, I was feeling peckish after dinner. So I gathered wifey and the in-laws to visit the SS2 pasar malam, to grab some snacks. As I was walking through the throng of people, I caught a whiff of a sweet-smelling fried fruit. To my glee, I spotted a stall selling fried cempedak. Without further ado, I went and got some. The cempedak was fried to brown perfection, and the batter is very light. They were rather small, but each piece had a good amount of sweet cempedak flesh in it. It was fried so well that the seeds were also edible. Definitely recommended.
