Donald's Durian is yet another of the ever mushrooming setups around particularly SS2 that offers cheap durian buffets. Cheap, yes. but if you're going for quality rather than quantity; i seriously recommend you order ala-carte instead yep, of course.. do not expect it to be RM10 anymore with quality Musang Kings and Red Prawns varieties But if you're a true blue Durian Lover, you're definitely guaranteed a real treat....

Looking at the cheap price of rm10 and eat all you can durian buffet. Of course you can't expect something great from the normal durian stall. All you get is what you bet for it. Sometimes if not many people around, they will choose nicely for you. Sometimes they simply open for you. So you might have high chances to get pale yellow instead of golden yellow durian.

I like to eat durian. I can eat as much as I can. This will only fulfill my needs by having the buffet style durian.I was so happy when I know PJ here have durian buffet. With only RM10, I can have the durians until i full. Here, the service is very good. They serve us a cup of plain water. For the durian's quality, of cause we can't expect too high for it. But if you lucky enough, you will get the bittersweet ones. I like the durian with bittersweet taste and yellowish. However, not most of the time the durian is good. Sometime, the durian is still raw.Unlimited refill of the durians really makes me feel so happy.

Donald's Durian is one of the many durian stalls in SS2 which has a RM10 all you can eat durian buffet. But this time around, I wasn't there for the buffet. We wanted to try the Musang King variety which is RM20-RM22 per kg. This grade of durian doesn't come cheap and now I know why. The flesh is so creamy and sweet but there's more, bitter notes which was not overpowering that really made it less indulging somehow but at the same time made me crave for more. The sweetness was understated too so it was really a delight to taste. The best thing is it has smaller seeds to the flesh seems to be endless. Definitely not to be missed if you haven't tried one yet. Worth paying extra for.
