It was a Friday night and we had a friend who came all the way from Sabah for her friend's wedding. Seeing that she has some spare time, we hung out together with a few others. Since we wanted somewhere that we could chat and exchange some books, so I thought, Ben and Nick's the best place to go. Nice cozy interior with vintage look and feel.The menu looks quite fun All 5 of us ordered different dishes. We had the fried calamari, carbonara spaghetti, lamb chop, steak, fish and chips and a beef steak wrap. The food came pretty fast! And was served all at the same time. The fried calamari is fried with a special type of flour and it wasn't greasy. The meat was tangy as well. The fish and chips was ok, nothing spectacular but the chips was meaty and not too salty, just right.The beef wrap was quite different from the rest. It was quite nice and filling. The meat was nicely done and wrapped, it makes a very satisfying meal. The lamb chop was grilled nicely, served with grilled vege and had a very authentic taste. The steak boast a strong beefy smell and was grilled to a perfect medium. The carbonara was also very nice. It's creamy and runny and not jelak although there's an amount of cheese sprinkled on top of it.We also ordered the signature lemonade. The lemonade was strong in taste but not very sour. Everyone loves their lemonade. We have no dissatisfaction in any of their dishes. The only thing we regret was not ordering the apple crumble as we are all very full already. And also parking can be a pain. But Ben and nicks is a great place to go for a good hang out.
