A high class Taiwanese restaurant called Xian Ding Wei 鲜定味. This restaurant name is catchy – in Chinese it sounds like you need to reserve first before dining there. This restaurant a variety of taiwanese cuisines. It is located in Sunway Pyramid.Three Cup ChickenTaiwanese three cup chicken was really a great dish. The chicken was cooked with thick dark brown sauce which tasted a bit sweet and salty. The chicken was soft, smooth and tender. Most importantly, the sauce was absorbed into the chicken meat that makes the meat to be very juicy.Credits to: EVERYDAY FOOD I LOVE

I am a fan of Taiwanese dessert. I dropped by Xian Ding Wei last year for a try. Too bad this restaurant is no longer in Sunway Pyramid. It has been replaced with other restaurant. The environment was nice and I went there about tea time. So, not many people was in the restaurant. I ordered 阿嫲挫冰, it is something like our Malaysian kind of ABC. They have 芋圆 and red beans, which are my favourite. It is not as good as I experted. Could have more red beans and the ice can be smoother. I still enjoy my time there with their good service. Kinda miss this place.

Fried stuff are always predictable, its either too salty or dry and the taste is too one dimension to be appreciated. When my friend ordered this dish to be shared, I felt it was a waste for our tummy spaces. The chicken strips are dipped in salted egg batter and given the deep fried treatment. It was not as dry as I expected as the chicken strips were rather thin though the batter was too thick on some slices.

Xian Ding Wei (鲜定味), a new Taiwanese cuisine restaurant opened at Sunway Pyramid. The restaurant features a delighting Taiwanese dishes where I had make my first move towards this restaurant. This restaurant is a non- halal restaurant. The service here was great and they have many choices of delights for me to choose to have.I had ordered the special chicken roll which was simply delicious. The chicken was wrapped with the minced pork as well as vege and so called taufu skin and being deep fried. It is so mouth burning as it is served hot. Yummy
