I've always been a really huge fan of Asam laksa!! It is one of those food that I will never get bored of. I've been to Ah Cheng Laksa for quite a number of times in the past (probably 5 years ago) and I decided to try it again to reminisce my memories where I would have a bowl of Ah Cheng’s assam laksa while waiting for my sister to finish her piano lesson.After eating that bowl of assam laksa, I could tell that the standard has dropped really drastically. I've always been a really huge fan of Asam laksa!! It is one of those food that I will never get bored of. I've been to Ah Cheng Laksa for quite a number of times in the past (probably 5 years ago) and I decided to try it again to reminisce my memories where I would have a bowl of Ah Cheng’s assam laksa while waiting for my sister to finish her piano lesson.
After eating that bowl of assam laksa, I could tell that the standard has dropped really drastically. The noodles were not as chewy as before and the soup was rather sweet than spicy. The most important element for a delicious bowl of assam laksa is the soup. It should have just the right amount of heat and sourness. However, Ah Cheng laksa did not meet that requirement as the soup was quite bland and the combination of spiciness and sourness was wrong. Ah Cheng laksa really let me down.
One regular bowl of asam laksa is around RM 8.90 and there is an option to go for the junior asam laksa! The junior asam laksa costs around RM 6.30 and the portion is 2 time smaller than the regular one. If you want a drink to complete your meal, it will be RM 11.50. For the drinks you can choose for either ice lemon tea, homesoy or longan. The ice lemon tea was okay, it wasn't too sweet and wasn't diluted.

having lunch with colleague during lunch hour over here.not too crowded as we still can find  a place to sit down without waiting others.the food served with fast deliver speed and still nice as usual!should give them a try!prices are RM8.90 per bowl.

The herbal soup is rich and tasty while the chicken is tender. My girl comes from a small town where she can easily get a bowl of nice laksa. When she comes to Selangor, she always say that she can hardly get a bowl of good laksa. The laksa is either too expensive, or not up to standard. The laksa is served in a paper bowl, with rice noodles, cucumber, pineapple and lots of mackerel fish loaded inside. The soup is extremely spicy with a right sourness, making me can't stop slurpping in the noodles with the soup.

Ah Cheng Laksa is one of the visit we went during our free time and we had our meals there and we know about the restaurant which is famous for LaksaJr asam laksa is our order of the day. The laksa soup is thick and nice with the delighting prawn paste on it. The asam laksa also is one of my favorites and the overall taste is a super thumbs up.Taste: 5/5

 Jr asam laksa is our order of the day. The laksa soup is thick and nice with the delighting prawn paste on it. The asam laksa also is one of my favorites and the overall taste is a super thumbs up.
