As usual it is finger licking good. It has always been a favorite of ours when it comes to Sang Har noodle and Crab. But the price sky rocketed and it is getting pricier as time goes by.There is less crowd on weekdays but probably due to CNY now, there were more diners when we were there. Best to make reservation on weekends though.Of course we had the Sang Har noodle and as usual, it was really good. The gravy tasted  flavorful with the prawn so huge. There were so much of roe and it was so sinful as we just had prawns the night before too. This time we had the kam heong lala and a honey coated deep fried squid. The lala was nice, the curry leaves makes it even better but the portion was so small. There were four of us but we only manage to have 3 lala each to ourself at most. The squid was something different. Deep fried with honey coated, it can be quite dry but crispy and crunchy on the outside. The texture is good but after awhile, it can be quite tiring to chew at. Will be good for snacks but not so appropriate to pair with rice though. 繼續閱讀

A colleague have been giving rather amazing reviews to this establishment and decided to bring us there for lunch one day. Despite it being a work day and late in the afternoon, there were still quite a number of tables filled. Mosftly people in working clothes and maybe one or two families. Apparently a pretty popular order is their tao fu stir fried with mushrooms. This I really liked because the sauce tasted really good while the bean curd was nice and soft, with a nice juicy crunch from the mushrooms. Though I wish this came in a larger portion considering that there was quite a few of us at the table. Something that came highly highly recommended is the Big Prawns Sang Har Noodles. At first I was a little skeptical because the seafood that we're often served is always small and not super fresh. But at Green View, the prawns were really huge and super succulent where the meat peels right off the shell, a clear sign that it is indeed fresh. The noodles were nicely crisp at first and perfectly al dente when it has soaked up all the yummy sauce. I had second helpings of this. We also ordered the Kam Heong Crabs which was also pretty big in size. This also tasted pretty good and flavourful without being overly spicy. The crab meat was nice and juicy also, especially at the pincers. Though I had plenty of the leg portion as the meat there is more tender and flavourful. As always no meal is properly complete without some vegetables. They only have a selected amount of choices when it comes to greens so we picked the Cheng Loong Choy stir-fried with garlic. It was alright but nothing too much to shout about and like always, slightly on the oily side. The bill came up to quite high because of the two seafood dishes. But if there's a need to try some good seafood and have the money to splurge, give this place a try. :3 繼續閱讀

Was there during the 4th day of the CNY with a group of 6 friends. We ordered the Lobster Sang Mee, Prophet Fish (刀底鲳), pork rib, vege, and yee sang. The ambience and cleanliness of the restaurant is acceptable, and service is good. However, we are extreamly dissapointing the with taste of the food, whereby the food is extreamly salty. The lobster mee which cost Rm1k is totally screwed. If someone claims they are famous of the lobster mee, but cannot cook it well, this is a shame. 繼續閱讀

Green View Restaurant is famous for their Sang Har Meen, as well as other Seafood dishes. Usually when we have visitors who likes their seafood, this will be the place we will go. When my sister was in town last time, we brought her here to try the Sang Har Meen, as she is the biggest fan of prawns. Sang Har Meen (生虾面) literally translate to "Fresh Prawn Noodles" but it sure isn't as straightforward as it sounds. Just look at this beauty. How appetising looking, right? Let's talk about the taste. They specifically use super large freshwater prawns with lots of roe, and gives their gravy plenty of umami flavours. The noodles are fried to a crisp, but slowly soften while absorbing the delicious gravy. The prawns were almost like mini lobster, half for one person is definitely enough. It's an absolute must to suck out the prawn heads because that's where all the good stuff are! Needless to say, this dish will please any seafood lover. The service there is pretty efficient when it's not too busy, few of them even speak teochew, which is pretty cool when my teochew half of the family is present. Of course, the Sang Har Meen comes with a hefty price tag (around RM25 per portion) but it's well worth it! 繼續閱讀
