Restaurant Soo Kee is a restaurant located opposite the Sea Park morning market. It sells only Ipoh chicken hor fun, steamed chicken and prawn wantan. The prawn wantan is sold in a set of 10 pieces per set. There are two versions of the Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun, i.e. dry or with soup.I had breakfast here with my boyfriend before sending him off to catch his train to KL Sentral. We ordered a bowl of Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun each and 1 set of Prawn Wantan. Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun costs RM 5.50 per bowl whereas Prawn Wantan cost RM 8 per set.In my opinion, the Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun came in a very small portion. Hence, I feel that it is insufficient for me. But, the owner was very generous with the chicken shreds in the noodles. I enjoyed eating the chicken very much as the meat was very smooth! As for the Prawn Wantan, I think it super duper delicious and the price is acceptably reasonable We requested extra soup as we both favoured the soup in the noodles and the Prawn Wantan.  The owner was very friendly and was more than happy to satisfy our cravings for the soup!Oh! PS: They don't charge GST  繼續閱讀

I personally prefer soup with my noodle, hence I decided to order the hor fun soup. The noodle is silky smooth, very easy on the throat. There weren't much ingredients, only a few pieces of gau choy. The noodle is meant to be eaten with the steamed chicken. The soup has some MSG taste, but that is quite expected. For those who prefer an extra spicy kick, a small saucer of chilli padi and soya sauce is provided. 繼續閱讀

it is restaurant that famous of its ipoh style food. We go eat ipoh hor fun (kuey teow). It can be served with soup or dry. The hor fun is smooth and it wont be very oily(this is what I like the most). The soup is also tasty. The taste of dry hor fun is just normal like dried noodles only . Besides, we also ordered steamed chicken. It is steamed with oyster sauce. The chicken meat is tender and nice. 繼續閱讀

Soo Kee Restaurant is actually famous for their Hor Fun Noodles and if I am not mistaken, they only sell hor fun noodles and not anything else except the steam chicken and other side orders to go together with the hor fun noodles. When I went there the other day, I ordered myself a plain bowl of hor fun noodles with nothing inside because I wanted to eat with my steam chicken. The soup of the hor fun noodles was really sweet and tasty. The noodles in the other hand is cooked to perfection. It might look like a simple bowl of noodles, but in that one bowl it contains so much flavors and the noodles goes best with their steam chicken! A bowl of plain hor fun noodles is about RM2+. 繼續閱讀

To all char siew lover, you must head on to Restoran Soo Kee to try it out. For those of you who love the fatty parts, you can always request for it. But this time we purposely request for a less fatty part and still it is so delicious. One small plate of char siew as shown is not cheap though. It already cost us RM20 for that little portion. A little reminder for you, make sure you quickly order the char siew once you sit down for your dinner because it is selling pretty fast. Every table will probably order one plate of it. This shows that nice food doesn't hinder people from the expensive price. 繼續閱讀
