ipoh road yong tau foo is quite nice here in segambut. this place is the main branch and i wonder why this place is more crowded and no wonder the taste is like much fresh here especially the yong tau foo taste. i try their drinks of the barley ice and very good for my throat. nice to have this during sunny day. very hard to find parking and need to come early to dine in during weekends. i like this barley ice can choose for hot or cold. i like cold with liltte amount of ice and the barley tast

when coming here to dine in at ipoh road yong tau foo, i usually will my parents to get ready early to find parking here and dine in at 12noon. better as really hard to get seats sometime need to wait for so long. the order is quite messy and lucky they got my order correct. i try the sui kau soup very nice and big portion of the dumpling. the ingredients is fresh and i like sweet soup. the sui kau is well wrap with inside the vegetables is quite filling for me for one pieces of the dumpling

ipoh road yong tau food the main branch is at the jalan segambut and compare to other branches , here served a better taste of the yong tau foo and now the selling price is getting higher for each pieces is selling at RM1.10. i do like the fried fu chok and served hot . very crispy and not too oily and taste good when dip with the brown sauce or chili sauce. nice place to be during weekends

i also take away the taufu bakar . it really looks tempting and when i looking how they make it i feel like buying it more and keep it for my snacks later. came here as early as 10.30am. ipoh road yong tau foo is open and i am excited to get my rojak and also the taufu bakar. need to wait a while for them to get the fresh taufu and top with the sauce and the beansprout. very nice

during the weekends i usually come here for lunch as here in ipoh road yong tau food is really great place to have quick lunch with lots of variety and outside the place have this stall selling rojak and the famous popiah. even ho chiak came to this stall and review here. i like the chicken floss popiah my first try and it was very nice taste and i like the chicken floss

i order for take away today for the seaweed popiah bought two portion and one for my parents. really like the seaweed wrap the popiah with fresh ingredients and crispy vegetables inside the include the carrots, and cucumber and the crispy tasty really makes this popiah taste so good. service is very fast here they hire many more workers to help out in this stall

just ate the yong tau foo here in ipoh road yong tau food during the lunch time and this round i came early just to dine in few pieces and take away my favourite rojak. the rojak stall also open early when i come in at 10.30am, this place is open and there is big crowd have dine in here. the rojak really taste good and expensive but the fruits are all fresh. i like the pineapple and the guava taste sweet and most important the thick sauces. and added with lots of peanuts.delicious

my family try the herbal drink and also the guai lin kou. depends actually on the weekends what they have the desserts here. i do like also the guai lin kou taste. very nice and refreshing but i don;t think it is original like those in the shopping mall of the kong wong tong. is is cheaper and i think added many sugar inside. place are very crowded here all having the yong tau foo

when coming to ipoh road yong tau food, need to come early before 1pm. and very hard to find parking sometime i just drop by the back lane to try my luck and just park there to avoid wasting my time find my parking at the entrance. the places is quite warm and hot and i order the lo hon ko drinks to quench my thirst. very fresh after drinking this healthy drinks during sunny day

usually during weekends when i have not plan to dine in elsewhere all i think off is this place at jalan ipoh or nearby segambut the places called ipoh road yong tau foo. as usual hard to get a seats and parking is really challenging here. i like the wrap chicken. the chicken tasty good and wrap inside but hard to open sometime. very delicious and quite expensive here

ipoh road yong tau food is a famous stall in here in segambut or some said this location at jalan ipoh. in a bungalow type of place, this restaurant is big enough and can cater alot of people who dine in here. as early as 9.30 this place is open and i like the steamed peanut by gram they will pack for you. very soft peanut inside the packet and i like the taste so much and price is quite ok

An old lady, i really mean that she is really old, comes around with a tray of cold dessert anf herbal tea. The items she is selling depends on what she has, sometimes it was sea coconut, loh hon guo, guai ling gou, etc. If you like what she is selling, you just pay straight to her. I think she is an independent vendor at this place, so earns whatever she can sell from her tray. Her sweet desserts and herbal tea are all home made, very refreshing and cooling. Another must order from this place is the sui kao in soup. The sui kao is white color dumpling with minced prawn in it. The sui kao is very big, i love the freshness of the filling. I also love the soft and tender, off white sui kao skin. The other best thing is actually the soup. The anchovies soup is very spicy and flavorful. I am very addicted to this soup. Sometimes i just placed an extra order of the sui kao just because i wanted more of the soup.

Among a variety of yong tou fu items, there is also paper wrapped chicken available. The paper wrapped chicken is however, the least favorite item of mine. Depend on your luck, sometimes you get the chicken thigh, but sometimes it is the chicken breast. It will be a bit messy while unwrapping the chicken from the paper, oil, juices and sauces will spill around. The chicken was marinated with lots of ginger, but taste wise, it was not up to expectations.

When it comes to yong tou fu, this particular place is my all time favorite. I have tried so many places that claimed they were Ipoh Road Yong Tou Fu, but none of them can beat this one. The restaurant in a bungalow off jalan ipoh remained the winner in my list. The yong tou fu here are freshly made round the clock, very decent portion size, very delicious, and very reasonably priced.
