This is my last food post for the year, while enjoying my German non-alcoholic orange beer. Being someone who is crazy over anything that is cooked using beer or wine (note I am not alcoholic for that matter), I immediately ordered the Teochew Fishball Rice Wine Mee Sua when I saw it at KK Food Court, right before Thanksgiving at FGA church. Surprisingly, the wine flavour is not that strong and the broth is not very thick and oily. But it was actually clear soup. The mee sua was just nice and not hard or too soggy or overcooked. The winner is the fishball hence the name of the shop as such. The fishball is quite soft and elastic! There were quite a lot of ingredients too. Curry Hor FunEnjoying a bowl of delish curry noodle is no longer a boring fare now. Instead of the usual combination of noodle and vermicelli, I opt for Hor Fun or flat noodle this time for some newer experience. And it does turn out quite well indeed The flour noodles are very silky that you could literally just slurps it into your mouth. The gravy is very nice and not a bit spicy, but very flavourful indeed. The accompanied dried fried bean curd is a pleasant companion too for it helps to absorb the aromatic gist alongside with some homemade char siew. Simply satisfying! 繼續閱讀

118 KK 美食中心的咖喱面真的很好吃。 咖喱湯汁是用雞骨頭等十多種材料熬煮好幾個小時而成的。咖喱的色澤看了就讓人開胃,吃起來濃稠度剛剛好,味道適中,既不太辣,也不太鹹。如果覺得不夠刺激還可以加參峇辣椒。 配料除了有雞肉(白斬雞)外,還有馬鈴薯、魚餅、豆蔔,新鮮的豆芽等,這裏的黃面、米粉、白飯也是一應俱全。黃面本身彈牙,雞肉嫩滑,入口時非常爽口,魚餅和芽菜也很入味,豆蔔更將湯底的精華吸收,連同咖喱湯一起咀嚼,感覺非常醒神。 繼續閱讀

今天不想吃别的什么的,所以就只点了一个普通的炒饭再加上一粒荷包蛋,现在的荷包蛋还真的不便宜,他们的炒饭也还不错,炒得还蛮香,料就有些青豆,萝卜,以及一些猪肉碎,而且份量也蛮大的,吃的好饱。 繼續閱讀

There are alot Char Kuey Teow stalls in malaysia. The best one i remeber is in Penang.They make the best Char Kuey Teow So after i have been there ate ther, i feel the ones in Penang can't seem to compete at all.This Stall in 118 makes no different cause it is not perfect yet but it was alright. The taste doesnt enough wok hei and the noodles is not springy enough but its consider okay compare to some of the other stalls 繼續閱讀
