Triple color tea is a local speciality drink that i love so much. The three color layered tea from Jojo Little Kitchen was a disappoinment. After giving the tea a good stir, i try it and instantly felt that the tea lacked flavors. Perhaps the tea need more gula melaka, i feel that the three layered tea was not sweet enough and the gula melaka was not aromatic. The lacked of flavors make the drink taste diluted. 繼續閱讀

I'm not too sure if many people knows this but within the area of Bandar Puchong Jaya itself there's more than half a dozen eateries like this one specializing in Pan Mee.. and what's more all are located just 1-2 streets away from each other.. within walking distance! So as you can imagine competition's pretty tight. But I noticed JoJo's still the most popular of em' all. Little wonder, for it has managed to produced the best Lat Jiu Pan Mee around! The chilli paste's simply awesome, and coupled with the half-broiled egg used to mix in the smooth yet firm Pan Mee noodles, it's totally a winner! I simply loved it! Another noodle worth mentioning is the Herbal Pan Mee Noodles. If you're into traditional herb soup; then you will simply love the soup base of this one! Yums 繼續閱讀

One of the best soups/broths to go along with the plain pan mee noodles has got to be curry, usually complements nicely with flour made noodles. The curry pan mee here comes with taupok (dried beancurd), long green beans, cockles, chicken and beansprouts. The thick (broad) noodles were more chewy compared to other pan mee shops. The curry was quite thick, filled with aromatic spices and spicy kick. Other ingredients tasted pretty decent, overall it was an average meal. 繼續閱讀

I always curios how does it taste like for a bowl of pan mee that is filled with red hot dried chillies. So without hesitation, i ordered it during my visit this round. My friend told me that you have to add more dry chilli to it so that you can eat till you "FLY". So that's what i did!The pan mee noodles definitely tasted the same as the one that i use to order but the spiciness from the chilli is killing me. I drank at least 2 glass of water after finishing my meal and that filled up my stomach that is burning like mad. I think i would rather stick back to my all time favourite, dry pan mee... 繼續閱讀

It took me a while to find, but I finally located Jojo's little Kitchen in Jalan Kenari, on the same row with PHD (pizzahut delivery).A homey little place with basic wooden chairs and tables. A menu was given to us almost immediately as we were one of the earliest. People started streaming in later. For drinks, I decided to try something unconventional, so to say. Green apple water chestnut (RM3.50 If I'm not mistaken) was a refreshing drink, not too sweet, with chewy bits at the bottom. One of my recommended drinks, definitely.Fried wanton came next, 8 pieces for RM5. Nothing special, I recommend you save your money for something else.Main dishes! There is the traditional pan mee with soup or dry choices. For once, I decided to be a little adventurous by trying Herbal Pan Mee (RM8). It tasted like Pan mee in proper herbal chicken soup. Even the chicken portion was generous. Do try it if you're up for an adventure, and if you like herbal stuff Sotong ball panmee with milk (RM8) turned out to be a good choice as well, with the soup texture cream-milkish tasting. Pan mee was machine made, but you have the choice of thick or thin or "pinched" For tau fu fa (about RM1.20 if I remember correctly), they have choices of brown sugar and conventional white sugar. Took the white one, and was satisfied. Not too sweet, and tau fu fa was soft and melts in the mouth. Verdict: Pan mee with lots of choices. Prices are slightly higher than your average hawker stall, but then again you pay for the variety, the creativity and the ambiance, not to mention the higher quality. 繼續閱讀
