这个豆芽菜虽然没有怡保的来得肥美,不过味道还是不错的。豆芽菜都煮到刚刚好,吃起来匪茶馆的爽脆清爽,吃起来的声音很清脆,其实根本不需要很花俏的煮法,淋上一些酱油就刚刚好了 繼續閱讀

This porridge is good to eat on cold and rainy days. Even if you have it for breakfast, it is definitely a good idea. Many people were seen eating this at the restaurant. I liked the crispy toppings because it was a good complement to the fragrant, smooth porridge. Although the porridge seemed simple, it was flavorful and soothe the tummy well! 繼續閱讀

Driving all the way out to Taman Bukit Maluri in Kepong this afternoon, my colleagues and I decided to drop by Tuck Kee Restaurant. I was told they were famous for their dim sums. Unfortunately this round, we reached at 1pm which warranted lunch instead of their famed breakfast dim sums. As there were only three of us that afternoon, we went for minimal dishes, four to be exact. I did not manage to snap a photo of the vegetables but here's all three dishes presented out in this post. The first that arrived was more of an appetizer which whetted our appetite for the mains. The Pork Slice in Folded Bread dish contained six folds of bread which contained very delicious barbequed meat with slices of cucumbers. Taken with the accompanying chilli sauce, I wouldn't mind just having this alone for lunch.Now I'm not a huge fan of fish heads, even though I know of friends who love it to bits. Preferring fish meat instead of the head due to the lack of meat inside, the Spicy Fish Head Cooked with Ginger was surprisingly very tasty and nice. Fried to a crisp and then stir fried with lots of ginger, green and red chilli, we had a mixture of salty, spicy and gingerish taste. I liked this dish for the taste, even though it lacked meat, but that's to be expected when you order fish head I guess. The subsequent dish, the Dried Curry Prawn and Cuttlefish went well with my taste buds as well. Curry spices were used to flavour the dish, served on a plate of cuttlefish and peeled prawns. The prawns were fresh enough that I did not taste any "fishiness" in it. It was an overload of cuttlefish for me though, as there were just so many of it inside. 繼續閱讀

Tuck KeeIt's a weekly routine for my family to have Dim Sum in Restaurant Tuck Kee on every Sunday. Let me share a few normal Dim Sum dishes that are available in all Dim Sum restaurants. Yu MaiThis is one of my favourite dish. Been to alot of Dim Sum Restaurant but none of them are comparable with Tuck Kee's Yu Mai. The fish paste is well blend, nice and big!!! For me, I would recommend you not to eat it immediately when served. Wait for a little while for it to cool down and 'harden' abit so that the Yu Mai doesnt taste too soft. Loh Mai Kai (Glutinous rice with chicken)Also one of my favourite dish and also one of the best among others. It's not too soft and doesnt melt easily like others. Chee Cheong FunThis dish is ok. The Chee Cheong Fun doesnt break easily, texture is good, the chilli tasted good and there are prawns inside. 繼續閱讀
