On the same day that a bunch of us bloggers went for our Desa Parkcity Fun Photography Outing, we adjourned to have some really good dried Bak Kut Teh at Kepong. Recommended by Jackie Loi for it's really tasty and nice dried bak kut teh, we headed to Bak Kut Teh Klang Yip Yong in Aman Puri, Kepong in a convoy of 5 cars. Bak Kut Teh Klang Yip YongJalan Desa 2/1,Desa Aman Puri, KepongThe shop is just like any coffeeshop you will find serving Bak Kut Teh's but what's important is the taste of their dishes. All 9 of us manage to secure the largest table in the restaurant, all eager and hungry as it was already close to 2pm that time.We tried out both the "wet" soupy Bak Kut Teh dish as well as the "dry" spicy one. Nothing to shout about for the Bak Kut Teh soup, but the dry spicy Bak Kut Teh rocked our socks off. Check out below on some photos I managed to snap of our delicious lunch that afternoon. I do have to comment on the Dried Bak Kut Teh that we had. The meat were cooked together with bits of cuttlefish, dried chillis, with lots of black sauce. On its own, it gets rather salty, but coupled with the "oil" rice, the fragrance and taste is just awesome. Even after the meat was gone, we could still dig into the bottom of the bowl for cuttlefish bits and continue munching away!Full Review at http://www.isaactan.net/2011/11/bak-kut-teh-klang-yip-yong-at-kepong.html
