Tried a Lai Wong Chicken, the chicken was dry like stick. Totally not worth with the price I'm paying.

My friend Bern and I were looking for restaurant to have our dinner.Initially we went to Sushi Mentai but it was so crowded that we decided to find other places for our dinner. Walking near to the pasta shop, again we saw the long queue, we quickly find our alternative plan. As we were walking, we saw Little Star Cafe is just nearby. According to Bern, there have plenty of choices for food, so we thought of since we can't make up our mind on what to eat. As well as we go this cafe with variety choices. She knew that I'm craving for porridge and so I ordered the Salted Egg Porridge This porridge gains a very low rate from me as to me, I find the porridge is too salty.Initially I wanted to eat porridge as I feel other food taste too heavy for me that I wanted to eat something light. But eating this porridge becomes a major turn off for me as I feel there's actually a lots flavorings used on cooking this porridge I'm sorry, Little Star Cafe. You don't win my vote this time.Bern ordered the butter milk chicken rice. I forgot to take a picture of the food. but sadly the food doesn't meet our expectation. As it stated that the food is the chef recommended food on the menu, it's quite disappointing when we have this high expectations but the outcomes doesn't turn out to be good. But this can't be the total judgement, as our food are just like two out of hundreds food they have there. They truly serve varieties of food, and the air conditioned restaurant just sort of giving us pleasure on a hot day like this. They do charge GST here. and I find the price is quite high for this quality. But as of the restaurant, I would prefer if they have brighter lightings in the nightLooking forward to better dishes till next time I visit.
