Come here very often. The ban mian is always maintained in good quality as the lady chef has her own cook books selling. Good thing is that they don't make it franchise style and hire some people to cook, as the lady chef ower is still cookig by herself. Love the fried ban mian hokkien fry style. Lol 繼續閱讀

来到这里纯属巧合,想要去的餐馆没看,就随便来到隔壁的家乡板面。这里的板面有点特别,点餐时不觉得,吃的时候才发现怎么全是手撕的版面呢?我们四人点了两份凉瓜滑肉板面,家乡板面,家乡自制鸡饺汤,海底椰爱玉冰,金瓜薏米,绿茶,红枣雪耳。凉瓜滑肉板面其实挺不错,就算我发烧胃口不是很好,还是觉得汤底甜甜的,苦瓜片有点厚所以有点苦,如果能薄一点的话会更好吧?板面份量不错,滑肉就少了点。(怎么印象中没吃到所谓的滑肉呢?)鸡饺汤就有很多我很爱吃的菜(对不起一时忘了什么名,请看图片),鸡饺份量也不错,我们四人分着吃刚好。家乡板面料足,吃了让人很满足。刚端上来时还香气扑鼻呢!金瓜薏米真的挺不错,我喝过完全没味道的,极度甜的,极度浓稠的,都不好喝。这金瓜薏米刚刚好,有薏米的味道又有金瓜的自然甜。海底椰爱玉冰卖相让人开心,感觉很用心的饮料。在这大热天简直透心凉!环境嘛,一架冷气是不够的,尤其大门永远敞开,外边的热气一直涌进,虽然开了蛮多架风扇可是还是热得猛出汗呢! 繼續閱讀

Black Pepper Ban Mian and Hot Green Tea. I have never ordered anything with soup at this restaurant. This is because fried ban mian can rarely be found, or it can only be found at Hometown Ban Mian, which makes me prioritize the different types of fried ban mian available at this restaurant. Despite so, it was merely my second visit over here, and I ordered the same thing as my first visit.Anyway, I like it. I would love it if it didn't worsen my throat's condition. It was filled with the fragrant of black pepper. As I put a few pieces of ban mian into my mouth, I could slowly feel the slight spiciness. The level of spiciness was still acceptable. At least my tongue never went numb even after I finished my meal. Also, I love the fact that they cooked it together with capsicums, which have recently become one of my favorite food, and my all time favorite prawns. I totally enjoyed it.Although I couldn't quite recall the name of this snack, it is recommended. It's sweet lotus seed paste covered with thin layers of crispy skin, perfect to be eaten after your meal, as a dessert. The filling was thick as well, unlike many other restaurants that tend to be too stingy to provide more, destroying the entire texture of the snack.P/S: I am a person who loves most of the food made of flour. Thus, my review may not be applicable to anyone who does not really prefer food with thick flour. 繼續閱讀

Pumpkin Barley. Well, when I saw this item from the menu, it sparkled my curiosity on this drink as the combination of pumpkin and barley is interesting. I never drink pumpkin juice before and never seen one before. I took a sip and it tasted quite good actually. It was sweet with some slight pumpkin flavour. The barley added some chewing texture to the drink. Recommended for trying. 繼續閱讀

Went to Kepong the other day to buy some archery stuff, and chanced upon this shop. Named Hometown Ban Mian, they serve a selection of pan mee cooked in different styles. However, the one that caught my eye was the pig stomach pepper soup pan mee. I was afraid that this type of pinched noodle would be undercooked, but I was wrong. Served in a claypot bowl, the noodle was springy and texture was very appealing. The soup itself was heavenly, just how a pepper soup should taste like. Piping hot, the soup can be quite spicy for some. The pan mee comes with a generous helping of pork meat and pig stomach, garnished with some spring onions. It is really too bad that Kepong is so far away from my place and the parking is horrendous, else this would probably be the place I would frequent for a satisfying weekend lunch. Priced at RM9.80 a bowl, it might be called expensive by some, but to me it is well worth the money. 繼續閱讀
