After a satisfying meal, the restaurant asked us to help ourselves to the free flow of the ice cream. The ice creams are the courtesy of the restaurant. We were delighted to have such nice restaurant to give us free dessert at no charge, and it was free flow. Meaning we can have as many portion of the ice cream we want. For our vegetable dish, we choose the Hong Kong Kai Lan. The Hong Kong Kai Lan was stir fried in garlic and salt. Look at the beautiful green color of the vegetables. They were fresh and crunchy. I love the kai lan so much. It looks a bit oily but in truth, it doesn't taste oily. Some chinese wine was added to the vegetable to give the extra boost of flavors. Always enjoy a good stir fried vegetable dish.

They call this the Homemade Bean Curd. Perhaps it is a recipe they created themselves. The homemade bean curd is a large piece of white bean curd, deep fried to golden brown. Since the bean curd was deep fried, the skin of the bean curd will have a crunchy texture. On top of the bean curd are "Choi Poh" and minced pork. The sauce is similar to an oyster sauce. I lve the "Choi Poh" which is slightly salty but also crunchy.

The owner of the restaurant also recommended us to try their special Peking spare ribs. The peking spare ribs are quite flavorful and well marinated with the special sauce. The sauce tasted slightly sweet. I love the spare ribs as they were very tender and juicy. However, some of the spare ribs weren't meaty enough. I'm sure the spare ribs were lightly deep fried before cooking with the sauce as the spare ribs were a bit crunchy too.

Restoran Big Eye Seafood is nestled in the village of Serdang, it is not too difficult to find as it is situated on one of the main streets. The steamed fish in special sauce was a lovely dish. The special sauce tasted spicy with lots of bean paste flavors. There were lots of chilli padi, garlic, ginger and fried pork lard in the sauce. The fish was fresh and not many bones. Very delicious indeed.
