Initially we wanted to go to Dragon-i as my friend's mother like the Xiao Long Bao there but there was a long queue.As usual, Esquire Kitchen has a big crowd. Can you imagine I used to think that the food at Esquire Kitchen is not tasty? I guess it is a misconception when I came here today. Terrible terrible service just don't understand why there Is no one to serve us today. Normally there will be someone at the door step waiting for their customer to bring them to the table but today we went in look for a table and waited for a few minutes before some one come over to serve us. The service here today were so terrible, no one serve us when we are here. We find our own table waited for a few minute before before a waiter pass us a menu.But still we want to have our dinner because it is quite late.We had ordered one of their restaurant specialties, tong po yuk. This one is the regulars size which is enough for two person. The meat were so tender and the sauce wee not too salty. Just nice.If I were to rate this I would give 8/10

I always like to try different type of tau fu fa at different restaurant, but normally you will only saw this only at Chinese restaurant menu. This was served before our main dish, which I think is not appropriate as this was the desert, the waitress should ask us whether we want it to be serve now.Although the service were not up to our expectation but still I like this tau fu fa. It is hard to find this type of smooth tau fu fa. Besides that they know not everyone of us would like it to be too

Today me and wife was craving for some Chinese food due to recently y eating too much western food.So, we came back to our regular Chinese restaurant that serves our favorite fried dumpling.This is the must have dish that we will definitely ordered.Then, we ordered our main dish, Yang zhou fried rice and curry chicken noodle.Taste maintain at the same standard. Thumb up for them.

This is essentially Esquire Kitchen's signature dish- Tong Po Meat, best to have with the chinese flower rolls.The meat came in a soup pot, filled with black soup cum gravy and the sinful pork. The meat has a thick layer of fat and at the same time lean meat. They taste wonderfully tender, just one touch with the chopstick and the meat will 'slice' easily. The soup has a fragrant aroma, best dipped with some freshly steamed 'fa kuen' (chinese flower rolls), similar to mantou but much fluffier

This is the dish my family must have in Esquire Kitchen. It is a classic Chinese dish, simple and nice. It came with fried beancurd pieces, minced pork, mushrooms, sweet peas and sliced carrots. The beancurd tasted ordinary, but even better with the gravy- laden with wok hei, well-seasoned although a bit too salty but went very well with rice. The minced meat is very well cooked and flavourful, it is good enough to have large amount of rice to go with it

This can be found in the lunch set, together with chinese tea which costs around RM10 excluding tax. It came with noodles, minced pork meat, julienned cucumbers and carrots and seperate chilli bean paste. The minced meat came with little gravy that coats well with the meat, tasting flavourful, well-seasoned and contain special aroma. I like the crunchy vegetables and the al-dente noodles. Mix together it taste quite good. I thought that the chilli bean paste lacked a little fragrance and oomph.
