A new restaurant is open in SS3. This shop sells Vietnamese dishes during the day time and at night, they sell some simple chinese dishes. Some of the decorations in the restaurant, some Vietnamese pictures and hats. Claypot bitter gourd with chicken. The dish came pipping hot in this claypot. This dish is cooked with bitter gourd, chicken, and ginger. The sauce is lack of flavour and a bit starchy. However, the bitter gourds were cooked nicely, soft and no bitter taste. They use chicken with bones for this dish, therefore, the chicken absorbed the flavours of the sauce which is a plus point. The chicken were cut into very small pieces for easier to eat. Fresh coriander leaves are added as garnish. Steamed tillapia in ginger and garlic sauce. The tillapia is fresh and no smelly taste and quite meaty too. They steamed the fish for the right amount of time, hence, the fish was just nice, not overcooked or under cooked. The sauce was also added with chilli padi to add in some spiciness. Generous amount of finely blended ginger and garlic are the main ingredients for the dish. A very nice dish indeed. Again, fresh coriander leaves were added as garnish. 繼續閱讀
