It looks like an expensive Chinese oriented restaurant from the outside and the restaurant is located just next to the famous Malaysian Nyonya restaurant in the Strand.I have been there once and we tried the chee cheong fan.The food taste is quite good and special where we had the fritters chee cheong fan which is indeed a special one. It is well made and the portion is kinda full to have as well. The taste is quite good as well but it is indeed a heavy meals too.

Gong Fu Kitchen is located just beside the famous Nyonya Cuisine Shop, The Wok. The restaurant claiming that no MSG is used to ensure the authenticity in taste. This round we had our meal there with is their cheong Fun.We ordered the Prawn Cheong Fan which comes with quite many prawns in it and the portion is kinda big. The Cheong fan is slightly starchy as well. The prawns is also quite fresh.Taste: 3/5Price: RM 6.80Besides the usual Cheong Fun, they have this unusual Fried Fritters Cheong Fun.

Besides the usual Cheong Fun, they have this unusual Fried Fritters Cheong Fun. The unsual cheong fan is where the crispy fried fritters is combined with the soft rice noodles is something new whch is special. The soft texture outside combine with the crunchy taste from the inside is indeed a special combination and a must try. The recipe comes with simple concoction of rice flour, tapioca flour and corn flour and water; the cheong fun is first steamed and the fried fritter wrapped into it before being served. Fried fritters are only fried upon orders ensuring crispiness and freshness of the fritters.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 6.80
