Apart from the usual Soup version Bak Kut Teh, Klang has a variety of other Bak Kut Teh as well. One of it is their famous Dry Bak Kut Teh. Everything within the claypot itself was glazed with its dark sauce. The sauce was thick and rich whilst maintaining a subtle and salty flavour. It was really good, even better than the regular soup-based Bak Kut Teh. I personally prefer this more.

Another Bah kut teh store in klang. We went to have a try after being recommended by relatives. In the morning, the place is already crowded. We have tried one claypot Bah kut teh and one dried Bah kut teh. The claypot Bah kut teh tastes is rich in flavor and the meat is tender. The dried Bah kut teh is fragant but is a bit over spicy. I enjoy eat yar cha guai (油条)with Bah kut teh soup.

on this day, my classes were off so me and the bf and a few friends decided to go out and eat for lunch, and this time i suggested for bak kut teh! i had cravings back then and one of my friends decided to eat at Klang since BKT is famous there. using gps, we managed to drive all the way to Jalan Meru, and reached Lai Choon BKT around 2.30pm! by that time we were already so hungry and thank God the shop wasn't closed yet, although it was about too. i think we were the last customers. we ordered 2 pax normal bak kut teh and another serving of 2 pax dry bak kut teh. to be honest the normal soup BKT was quite dissapointing :X the soup was actually quite bland and the amount of beancurd skin (fu chuk) was quite little! for a klang BKT i was expecting more haha. but on the other hand, the dry bak kut teh was awesome. the meat was tender and juicy and the sauce was thick and very soya-ful? haha. basically very flavorful. after eating this you'd definitely be thirsty so better drink more tea!
