If you’re living in Cheras, you’ll sure to know that you can only get Hot Spicy Soup, Spicy Meat, Chicken with Wine all from Kajang. Traffic jam and a long stretch before you reach Kajang, now you can get it from a place where they are known better as Steamboat ‘street’ – Yulek! Cravings can hurt badly especially when you wanted to eat hot spicy soup and now you can cure them right away at Ten Hub Restaurant! Spot this restaurant along the stretch of the busiest main road (located beside the famous Yulek Chee Cheong Fun) and there they are! What have we tried and tasted? We must recommend you to try these that gave us the real spicy soup ‘OOMPH’ especially when you can have it in an air-conditioned restaurant!

Hot Soup

The signature dish, cooked in a claypot and they seriously have so much of ingredients in it! From pork belly slices, chicken meat, pork innards and of course a must have – pepper that makes the soup spicy! As they are boiled and cooked with all these, the soup brings out a tad sweet taste too! If you’re up for a game, you can request for a spicier and hotter soup base!

Spicy Meat

Most of us know if it is pronounced in Cantonese it is called ‘Fo Bao Yuk’, that means this is indeed spicy! Upon serving, quickly stirred it and of course, hold your breath or you’ll choke as the spiciness from the dried chilies is indeed powerful! So flavorful, uses nice cuts of pork belly, the fat and lean cut is so irresistibly good. Eat it with onions, spring onions, dried shrimps, the meat and the gravy; we managed to finish a bowl of rice too! Psst, do you know that they use better cut of pork belly that the fat actually melts in your mouth? Delicious!

Chicken with Wine

Another must try dish, the chicken meat succulent and just nice, not overcooked! Uses ‘Kampung chicken’ that is why the meat tastes better. The owner explained that this dish uses one of the Chinese’s favorite wines – ‘Hua Diao’ that will help to enhance the overall taste even better! Fragrant, we love this! Oh, and this dish is not spicy, perhaps a very good one to cool down your taste buds from the fiery spicy meat and soup!

Hot Soup Pan Mee

Regular Pan Mee you can have it anywhere but not this! So special that we didn’t expect this would make it into our list! Hot soup and Pan Mee indeed a good combo, where the homemade noodle is springy in texture and compliments the soup! Good as a fruitful lunch too if you’re not into rice and dishes, opt for this! For this, their soup would be slightly spicier as they uses more pepper in it and it comes with slices of pork belly meat and vegetables too. One word: Addictive!

Steamed Fish Head

Besides the best Spicy soup, one of their must haves would be the fish dishes. If it wasn’t a large banner hung outside, we wouldn’t know that they are well-known for steamed fish head too! Unlike the ones we had outside, the sauces here are all made by their chef. Tasted this fish, the sauce actually had sweet, sour and spicy taste. Do you know this only cost RM19.90? Besides steaming it with this sauce, they do have a few more choices to choose from. Psst, we got to know that they do have promotion for this fish – Tilapia fish now only for RM18.80! Fresh and no foul fishy smell, the meat texture is nice too. A great protein treat!

Vinegar Pork Knuckles

Besides fish dishes, they do have the best appetizing Vinegar Pork Knuckles! A must have dish as they are sourish, sweet and pork knuckles that is filled with collagen, isn't it a great dish for the ladies too? Not only that, it has ginger and helps to keep you away from being bloated too! Soft and nicely boiled for hours, this makes a great dish to be eaten with rice too!

Sweet & Sour Lala

Oh! Don’t miss this Sweet & Sour Lala, very appetizing and we managed to finish this within 5 minutes! Remember they are located at Yulek, Cheras!
